3 /5 Owen Cornelius: The restaurant is in a super cool location you can actually hear the river flowing nearby, and the train runs right in front of the building, which was awesome to see and hear while eating. It really gives the place a neat atmosphere that you don’t get everywhere. However, the service was a little slow and honestly kind of lackluster, and the food itself was just okay. It’s a BBQ place, but I’m from Texas… so my standards are pretty high. The brisket was pretty dry, more like thick bacon, and didn’t have much flavor it actually had that kind of old, reheated meat taste. Their BBQ sauce was good, though, and definitely helped bring some life back into it. The seasoned fries were actually really solid when they say seasoned, they mean it! Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience at all, just not my favorite BBQ spot, especially compared to what I’m used to back home.
