chris Mangia Bistro and Bar offers New York–style Italian cuisine right here in Scranton, and it absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, modern, and welcoming — the perfect mix of upscale and comfortable. I started with the Lobster Bisque, which was smooth, creamy, and full of rich, buttery flavor. You can taste the freshness in every bite. For my entrée, I had the Pollo San Pietro — a perfectly cooked breast of chicken topped with Prosciutto di Parma, eggplant, sweet peas, and fresh mozzarella, all brought together with a tomato demi sauce. It was an absolute standout — the flavors blended beautifully, and every detail was spot-on. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a Limoncello Spritz from the bar — light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel right at home.

Bakhodir Razakberdiev I ordered NY strip with eggs and hashbrown with white toast. The food was amazing and the steak was juicy. Everything is clean and organized. The wait time was reasonable. I dont normally see this kind of service on the road as a truck driver. I recommend to trying the food here at least once if you are passing by this area.

Brittney Miller First time ever coming here and can’t wait to come back! Service from the bartender, Ryan I believe his name was, was very helpful and attentive. Everyone seemed friendly working there and just a great environment altogether. The food was delicious and I love the variety of foods you can get from the menu! The prices are very fair too. Dessert was probably the best thing, super fresh and tasty. Excited to be back again! Highly recommend coming if you’re in the area.

Dede King Yummmm… Red Robin is one of my favorite restaurants. Not only is the building such a trendy blast from the past, but they make amazing food! No matter if I’m getting a burger, a sandwich or salad, I am always leaving satisfied and happy after a day out with my husband or our family. Don’t get me started on their french fries! They keep all of the condiments that you need on the table, including the seasoning salt for your fries. They have very yummy dippers for your fries or your burgers. They also have a wonderful birthday club and we really enjoy going to this location often. The restaurant has a throwback feel. I always love looking at the walls or above my head at the artwork and collages they have created. Make sure to check out the Pac-Man figures decor! The only reason that I’m giving this review, a four-star is because I don’t believe that they employ enough servers. When you offer something unlimited such as their fries, there should be somebody checking in on you more often. I don’t know if they need to hire more actual servers so then they can be more attentive to their tables or if they need to have runners who go around and check on the requests for another helping. The lobby has some really cool seating and balloons for the kids. There’s also some benches outside for overflow or if somebody just wants to get some fresh air while they’re waiting. Great for lunch, dinner and dessert. Happy hour available. Bat onsite with great cocktails, beer and wine. Overall: Food: Amazing! Very tasty! Service: Polite, but could be more attentive. Atmosphere: Awesome! Restrooms: Changing stations for babies. Alicia Vanblargan The food was good some of our party got the 13.99 special that came with dessert it was a cookie with ice cream that came out warm and was really good. The portion size on these were small (lunch size) a little disappointed. We also ordered the full size entrees they were good with a better portion size. The waiter was great! Price was slightly high to average. Staff is attentive the manager was checking on tables. Overall a good experience.

Jeffrey Bloom This place has been on my radar for quite some time and we finally made it in for dinner on a Saturday night. I ordered the king cut of prime rib which came with a side salad and B potatoes. The prime rib was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Ended up cheating and had a piece of chocolate cake for dessert as well. Highly recommended if your near Connellsville.
