Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - (Near Cranberry Twp, PA)

4 /5 Shahnozahon: We visited Firebirds twice in the past two weeks. The wait time was about an hour, which was fine for Friday night, we spent the time shopping nearby. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food overall was good, but a few things could be improved. The steak salad had only small bits of meat, it used to come with more sliced pieces before, though it was still delicious. The Chicken Parmesan, NY Strip Steak, and Kids’ Steak were all excellent! The kids’ salmon portion, however, looked quite small and unappealing. The steak penne was the most disappointing, the flavors didn’t come together, the pasta tasted undercooked (not al dente), and the steak itself lacked flavor, almost like it was boiled. Cheesecake was okay, and the kids’ sundae was way too sweet. Overall, great service and some excellent dishes, but a few menu items could use more consistency and flavor. Also, my kids were sad that the restaurant was out of the Firebirds Kids Club T-shirts.

3 /5 T Hall: I think you need a reservation during certain times at this place. I’d call ahead. Arrived at 6pm on a Saturday was told we had to take the high top tables or bar or wait until 7:30pm. It was either that or go somewhere else. High top tables aren’t very comfortable for me. My daughter opted to stay. Our server was kind. He was very apologetic because our entrees didn’t come out until just before 7:30pm. We ordered the deviled eggs and lobster bisque spinach dip as starters. We both ordered the Chilean sea bass as our entree. The deviled eggs were great. The entrees were not hot just barely warm. The fish portions were small. The sauce was a little bit too salty for my liking. The carrots were a huge let down. The mushrooms were eh. The mixed veggies were overcooked. It was very warm in the restaurant. For it to be more than 80 degrees outside the temperature inside was very warm. No air coming from anywhere. It was my first time visiting the restaurant and I would say hmmm, I’d go back for the deviled eggs. To spend $40 on a meal I didn’t finish or even want to take with me says the quality was definitely not what I expected.

5 /5 Forest Lambert: Firebirds Wood Fired Grill offers a great atmosphere with friendly staff that make the experience enjoyable. The bacon deviled eggs were awesome, bursting with flavor, and the steak sandwich was a standout—tender, well-grilled, and satisfying. I definitely recommend it for a solid grill meal.

5 /5 Rob Davis: This isnt the first Firebirds weve been too. We have one in our hometown of Greenville, SC. Both restaurants were very good. We had a party of 8 with early reservations and caught them in-between shift changes but the service after we were sat was top notch. The food is always on point we started with the chimichiri shrimp and Philly Cheese steak egg rolls. I had a filet which was cool as I ordered, rare. The service, food and atmosphere were all great.
