Marge Hopkins This is the real deal, casual and easy, a cozy corner bar and restaurant in an established neighborhood.
The other patrons were sitting at the bar so we took a seat there too. The bar stools were comfortable and had good foot rests-an important feature for we short girls.
We ordered four dogs; two with everything, and two plain. I have had the weirdest experience with "chili dogs." Most are more of a thin sauce with mystery mix made from Worcestershire sauce, mustard, spices, and meat you cant quite identify. These were clearly chili dogs. Mike doesnt skimp on the toppings, the quality of the dogs, or the conversation while seated at the bar. It was like having lunch with a dear friend.
The atmosphere is industrial rustic in a good way and very clean.
It was the perfect spot to stop in for a bite, and forget about the rush of the day for a while.
