tierra colombiana restaurant

Tierra Colombiana Restaurant - Philadelphia

Rating: 4.3 /5
Rafiat Kasumu Atmosphere: Tierra Colombiana is truly a hidden gem in North Philadelphia. The moment you walk in, you’re transported to Colombia. This was thanks to the lively Latin music, vibrant décor, and inviting ambiance. The interior strikes a beautiful balance between rich mahogany wood and bright, festive colors. It’s the kind of space that feels both cozy and celebratory, perfect for a birthday dinner, graduation party, or just a fun night out. Food: I ordered the salmon, which came with creamy mashed potatoes, a rich caper sauce, and a side of avocado and sweet plantains. The presentation was impressive, and every bite was full of flavor. The portion was generous enough that I had leftovers to enjoy the next day. Service: The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. One standout feature was their digital iPad menu, which included photos and even videos of each dish. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes choosing your meal so much easier, especially for visual eaters like me. Note: Please note that there is an automatic gratuity added to all dine-in meals. It seems like this is regardless of the party size.

Rossi Ojeda Oh my gosh! This place is amazing! The boba was just right, not too sweet at all. And the seaweed salad was so fresh and tasty. The ramen shoyu and miso were fantastic too, well-seasoned and with a delightful black garlic oil. This place is a hidden gem!

Rosemarys Country Kitchen - New Derry

Rating: 4.7 /5
Greg Thatcher What a fantastic place. Its different from a traditional restaurant. If I have this correct Rosemary started by her love to cook and feed family and friends. It took off from there and really never lost the charm of cooking for family and friends. This was my first time there and everyone working there is family. Mike cooks the pizza in a wood fired oven seen in the picture. His cousins Nadine and Kristen are the most wonderful waitresses. Also in the pictures are a picture of the front and back of the menu. We sat in the barn as you see in the pictures filled with round tables and a couple booths. It was so cool and it started to rain and the metal roof sounded so nice and cozy. Theres tables outside in the lawn so on a nice evening you could sit there and theres a couple tables outside of the barn under the porch roof. Theres also another separate pavilion area in between the barn and the wood fired oven that you can sit at. Im not sure about indoor dining. I think they have it but Im not sure because this was my first time. The pizza was excellent. We had the margarita which was delicious and I got the diablio which was sweet and spicy. It was so good! However, my wife liked the margarita better and didnt really care for the sweet and spicy. We also tried the chicken wings which are done in olive oil, rosemary and garlic and were excellent. We saw others getting family salads which is just what it is, a big salad for the table to share and meatball parmesan which I was told is really good. We will definitely go back. Its cash only. And BYOB. They do not charge a corking fee and you can bring your own dessert. And I think youre allowed to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage (water, soda) They dont want you bringing other food. Just dessert is allowed. Also, if you bring a bottle of wine, bring your own glasses. They had some clear plastic cups to accommodate us but said sometimes they run out. Its paper plates and plastic utensils which dont bother me. Its all part of the charm of the place. However, I read a review before we went and a gentleman was disappointed with the atmosphere. It is seasonal for eating there. However, I believe they still do takeout all year around, but I would call first. It also gets quite busy. However the night we were there the weather was calling for rain so it wasnt quite as busy as normal. You can make reservations by calling them at 4:00. I hope you give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Coleman Olivia “Ol1v1ac” I always enjoy Ash and the ambiance he creates with the atmosphere and the dishes he prepares. I was yearning for a cozy vibe today and got just that. I enjoyed listening to the waterfall while reading my book and enjoying this delicious food. So happy to be back in the neighborhood to experience and support this business. Highly recommend. Everything on the menu is decadent for the tastebuds & healthy. A WinWin for sure!

The border mexican bar & grill - Wilkes-Barre

Rating: 4.4 /5
Beth Food is delicious and staff is extremely friendly! The restaurant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Both Italian and Mexican food options are amazing!! The atmosphere is relaxed and whole building newly rennovated. It has an upstairs and a downstairs with large bar, and area to host larger parties. If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)
