Hopwood House - (Near Hopwood, PA)

5 /5 H Cur: Everything I ordered was very good. Yes, this is an expensive restaurant, especially for the Uniontown area. Love the bar and vibe. Bartender was okay, but she wasnt overly knowledgeable, but not bad either. The bread was very good and that salad was excellent. Moved onto the seafood pasta dish and it was quite good as well, especially how they cooked the seafood with a nice charred taste. The desert was a nice finish. I dont give 5 stars often, so this is a good place, but a little pricey for its level/area, BUT I will return. My wine pairing was a little bit of a miss. I was dinning alone and spent over $100, just so you know. Went back and had an amazing meal!!! I cant believe there isnt a line out the door, but Uniontown. Filet, escargot and an amazing caprese salad , not to mention perfect old fashioned cocktails. I will be a regular here. Awesome!

4 /5 Lindsey M: We have gone to Hopwood House a handful of times and always have a very pleasant experience. Though each time it has been just short of my 5 star expectations for a fine dining establishment. The food flavors missed the mark on our first visit, but everything we ordered was exceptional on our last visit. However, the service was a little disappointing on our last visit (more attention and fresh silverware between courses would be much appreciated). On two occasions we requested a standard low table when making the reservations, but this was not honored when we arrived at the restaurant. Tiffany is fantastic and makes incredible cocktails! We have had delicious and beautiful craft cocktails on multiple visits making the bar a huge hit in my opinion. Unfortunately, our drinks were not good on another visit when Tiffany was not working. With just a few tweaks and more consistency, I look forward to Hopwood House becoming our go-to fine dining spot.

5 /5 Brent: Tonya, our waitress, was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The chef also stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The menu had plenty of options and the food was top tier. 5 star experience without question. We will be back again!

5 /5 Page King: A spectacular little historic place with a hometown chef (Chef Joe) who has returned after 25 years cheffing down South to give us amazing dishes! You will not be disappointed! We LOVED it and will be back again and again!
