sammys authentic italian restaurant

Sammys Authentic Italian Restaurant - Harrisburg

Carrie Troudt I have never had such an incredible meal. We had intended to just get something to go because we only had 15 minutes left on our parking meter. Chef Sammy met us inside the door and dishearteningly agreed to make us something to go. Then Josh, the waiter, told us that we didn’t have to pay for parking since it was Veteran’s Day. We decided to stay and boy are we glad we did. We had the blackened yellow-fin tuna in ginger sauce as an appetizer, followed by the wild caught salmon with capers and julienned vegetables, and the sautéd grouper & shrimp. It was exquisite and I savored every single bite. Then, for dessert, we got tiramisu and a cannoli. The tiramisu had the perfect blend of flavors and texture while the cannoli was just the right amount of crunch and filling. Both desserts were the perfect level of sweetness and provided a magnificent end to the meal. The food wasn’t the only thing that was amazing though. Since we came at a slow time of day Chef Sammy was able to take the time to share some of his origin story with us, and we were able to visit with Josh the waiter who has been there for 18 years. Amazing food. Incredible service. Worth every penny.

The Pier at Sharkys - Latrobe

Rating: 4.3 /5
Reb Chizelbeak Nice atmosphere. Great food. Had their Coal Fired Mac Attack Pizza and Cast Iron Skillet Dill Salmon. Some of the best local food we had in a long time Huge selection of food. Prices range from not bad to pretty expensive (typically for the steak). Their Creme Brûlée was like it was strawberry champagne infused. Definitely try that if they still have it. Will definitely go again.

Cristian Lucero Talk about a cool place! This farm to table dining experience is one you’ll want to bring friends and family to. With artist quarters and galleries to check out while you wait, and even an entire craft brewery selection to choose from at the bar you’ll want to keep coming back. The menu items are all so enticing it was difficult for me to choose what I wanted to eat; I would’ve ordered the entire menu if I had the time. Had the wood fired pesto pizza and everything about it was great from the bread, to the sauce, cheese and pesto! I strongly recommend the French press coffee if you want a good cup, and if you want a cocktail, you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. The drinks are beautiful and taste incredible. Will definitely be coming back! Just don’t forget to make a reservation as this establishment is really popular during the holiday season.
borderline restaurant

Borderline Restaurant - Bethlehem

Rating: 4.3 /5
Joseph Givens Borderline is one of the best diners to visit in Bethlehem, PA. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is clean, crisp, and inviting. Ordered the Belgian Waffle with bacon and scrambled eggs, and it was superb. Trish was our waitress, and she did a phenomenal job explaining the menu and what was available. Nothing is finer than eating at your diner. Five Stars and highly recommend.

Kevin Place We came in for a nice early dinner on our anniversary. The restaurant has a great ambiance, good service, excellent food, and very reasonable pricing! We will definitely be coming back in the future. The tour of Italy (I had already attacked the chicken parm) is in the pic!
