Open Door Café - (Near Oil City, PA)

Christopher Thompson Interesting restaurant model, offering many menus and cuisines primarily for takeout but with clean and pleasant seating inside as well. We had things from the Greek and Mexican menus but plan to return to try the wide, wide variety again. Dessert photos look particularly enticing, but we didnt have room this time.

Nepa Food critic Saw this while driving around, the pizza is amazing I’d you enjoy a thin, crispy bottom. Will have to try the tomato pie another day, but overall delicious. The people are kind and look familiar to me. But bravo!

Kristi T We ate dinner here on a Sunday night around 9pm. So it was definitely quiet inside and there were not many other customers around. Our waitress, who said it was her first day, was very nice and provided excellent service. The food was delicious! I had the blueberry mojito mock tail and I highly recommend it. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Saeed Ahmed Five stars across the board - really! Staff are super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner is on the site pitching in. The food is outstanding. The ambience is classy. Wines are well chosen. There is an espresso machine. The chef knows how to cook with wine (in that the flavor comes thorough and complements the dishes - this is a rare skill in my experience) One minor thing Tips are included by default when the bill comes around I was ok with this because the staff deserved it But I feel that tipping, while not optional, should be left up to the discretion of the customer, especially for small parties (in our case two). It creates an awkward moment at the end that can potentially ruin what otherwise is a highly pleasant experience. They should change this But overall, the place is outstanding

H The food was amazing. Although fried wings are better, their buffalo sauce is the best buffalo sauce I have had. The pizzas are light and tasty. Their Carolina bbq sauce is also very good. They have indoor and outdoor space and a bug beer list. Definitely a must try!!

Brion Maguire I had the Italian beef sandwich and side salad. Both were fresh and excellent. The people working there were very nice and attentive.
