Philly on the Rocks - (Near Erie, PA)

4 /5 Anthoni Rossi: Food was awesome. The Philly cheesteak is definitely worth the try. The venue space is cozy but had enough room for the band to play. Its pretty cool seeing these older bars get repurposed for newer audiences.

4 /5 Leilani’s Adventures: Stopped here to grab a bite quick while on a cross-country road trip. The cheesesteaks were solid, but they were out of onions!! :( Is it even a Philly cheesesteak without onions?

4 /5 James Kiley: The bartender was very nice & attentive & friendly to all guests. We got our order taken quickly & drinks (very affordable) right away. Seems like they have a pretty lively takeout business so the kitchen was backed up, which wasnt awesome but wasnt a crisis (we were enjoying ourselves & the vibe was fun). When the food did arrive (we each got small cheesesteaks and the two of us split an order of parmesan-garlic-mozzerella fries) it was tremendous. Really, really good. I can see why they do such a brisk business out of that kitchen.

5 /5 eric keefer: Im from Pittsburgh pa i was in Erie for a few moments and everyone else was busy. So i saw the google ratings I said ill go it a shot. I walk into a dark bar no one in there except a female playing a machine. Im like oh shit did i make a mistake? Then I believe it was owner he had pajama bottoms on. I was so hungry he could been in a toto. I didn’t wait parked outside snow everywhere. Man did his sandwich rock with flavor it was fire. No lies good meat everything cooked to perfection. He even orders the rolls from Philly great job my friend thank you for a awesome sandwich!

5 /5 safe home: Came in around dinner time. Everybody was pretty chill. bartender was really cool and knowledgeable about the area because we were not from around the way. Philly cheesesteak sandwich was on point, not too greasy and made with care. french fries were crispy and cooked perfectly!
