Ponduce Farms - (Near Elysburg, PA)

Mae Fields Tried again with this place and all in all I like it. I usually draw attention wherever I go even when i dress down w/o make up or doing my hair. Not here, which was very refreshing. Definitely comes off as a nice local watering hole (popo included) where pple seem to mind their own business but are still joyous. The drinks dont seem watered down or anything. The service is attentive and cordial. The environment looks very clean and adequately spaced out. Live but not super loud if u want a lonely self think drink. Finally the food: tasty and properly cooked, requested additions are fullfilled and satisfied. Only thing I can really criticize is the price of the portions on food. This fish sandwhich I got while touring Pitts supposed best fish was good but a little small for $10. Ive had much bigger fish for cheaper in other places but...bar prices: what are u gonna do??, you know. So id say go for it. Good spot if thats your vibe

Carlos Pereira Its an unpretentious restaurant, it gets straight to the point... With good Caribbean food, with a flavor that took me straight to the beach. They have tasty juices — I loved the tamarind one. Good service and a good price. Itll be my must-stop spot every time I come back to Allentown.

Candi Bellman LJS always has great food and its always clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. I do not like the new Cole slaw and it bums me out they changed it.

Uishman Absolutely love this restaurant its apart of our holiday tradition when we see the lights at Burgess Park. Tonight our waitress was slammed while doing her best and ALL the customers were more then friendly and understanding. This has been consistent experience for the last 5 years .. our families little special treat place ❤️

Scott Johnson Our first time here. It was exactly as we expected it would be.... warm, friendly and with delicious homemade food. Our server, Frankie, was fun, fabulous and truly added to our experience. . The owner, Red, was "table-touching", and I appreciate that. It makes you feel like he truly appreciates your business. You need to try this place. It might have been our first time, but its certainly not our last!

David Ennis Were big fans of Valley Dairy, but this location might be our favorite now. 1) Its maintained beautifully. Its clean, literally everywhere: vents, booths, floor, bathroom. Cleanest restaurant Ive seen in quite awhile... 2) The staff seem genuinely happy. And theyre attentive, almost like its a commercial. 3) The food is great. Its like Dennys or Bob Evans USED to be, ....about 30 years ago. 4) The manager (Jennifer) is incredibly nice, and runs a tight ship. On the first night we were there (we went back again 2 days later), she was waiting on 6+ tables, plus running the cash register, and we STILL didnt wait for our food or for refills. It was impressive. If youre anywhere in the Belle Vernon area around breakfast, lunch OR dinnertime, youre not gonna find a better meal than what youll get here. **Highly recommend!**
