2 /5 Angelica R.: On Sunday, December 28, I visited your restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and we requested to be seated in the bar area. When our server arrived, we asked about the mimosa tower, but instead of providing helpful information, he discouraged us from ordering it and gave several reasons why we shouldn’t get it.
We decided to each order a drink instead. After reviewing the menu further, we chose to order a bottle of champagne. When we told the server, he appeared visibly annoyed, which made us feel uncomfortable — as though he either didn’t want to serve us or assumed we couldn’t afford it.
Fortunately, we had already placed our brunch order before requesting the bottle. However, after the bottle was brought to the table, the server never returned to check on us.
He walked past our table multiple times without stopping once to see whether we needed anything. We eventually had to ask another bartender for water and for the dessert menu. I even had to get up from the table and pay at the bar because we waited so long for assistance.
Unfortunately, I do not recall the server’s name, but he was wearing a black football jersey with the number one. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and disappointing, especially during what was meant to be a celebratory occasion.
