Greenside Grill at Honeybrook - Honey Brook

StrĂĽdle Last night was my first time at Greenside Grill at the Honeybrook Golf Club. What a perfect night with the peaceful snowfall. The restaurant is beautiful with a very relaxing lodge feel to it. Love all the wood and they had nice Christmas decorations throughout. Our server Maddie was wonderful and had a very upbeat and pleasant attitude. She checked up on us and kept our drinks refilled. The food was the real star of the show. They had wonderful specials that night that were smoked in house. From a smoked cream cheese dip, to smoked chicken tacos, and finally the bbq platter. Me and my Dad ordered Chef Macks bbq platter to share. It was fantastic. It consisted of smoked mac n cheese with smoke paprika compount butter, baked beans w/ lardons (packed full of meat), ribs that were fall off the bone tender, bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers stuffed with cheese, and finally the burnt end cheddar jalepeno sausage. Chef came to check on us 5 minutes after getting the platter and we had nearly eaten the entire plate! Lol. My Dad had the Greenside burger w/ cheddar and tater tots. I had the Eagle burger w/ truffle fries. Both burgers were massive, flavorful, juicy, fresh veggies, and a great bun & sauces. Tater tots were crisp and tasty. Truffle fries were real winner, crispy and delicious w/ dill aioli for dipping. We finished off the meal with the warm apple blossom, tasty. Coffee and beer were nice Dad reported. We will gladly be coming back soon!

Terry Messner We went here for the Restaurant Week special, the Bratwurst burger. It was my first time here and was very excited to try their food as they seem to get amazing reviews online. Now the only thing I tried there was this burger and Im not sure if it was a regular menu item. It was a good sandwich and the burger itself was very good. There was a heaping pile of sauerkraut on it, along with other condiments. I really enjoyed it, my daughter seemed meh on it and my wife didnt care for it as she doesnt like sauerkraut. We will have to go back to give a more fair and accurate review. Based on this sandwich, I enjoyed Calabar and would happily return. On a side note, it seemed very kid friendly to me. There were several families with kids and there was a small kitchen kids play area upstairs.

Storm E Willow Lovely dinner experience with my sister for her birthday. Food was excellent & prepared correctly to our requests. Our server was very polite & was not constantly hovering, however was appropriately checking in and refilling drinks swiftly. Timing of serve was perfect and presentation was hot. You simply must try the baked sweet potato! My sister loved the western decorating and overall ambiance. I noted a door dash pick up at bar and upon leaving, their curbside pickup for mobile orders. After working late one evening I opted for a meal to go and was given a 5:11 pick up time that realistically was 5:28. Food upon my arrival home 7 minutes later in a heated car proved to require a brief zap of microwave energy to achieve a preferable temperature. I found the meal to be delicious & will definitely do again with the free appetizer coupon they gift you to return.

Emily Gilbert I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and I have to say that Lacey, my waitress, was absolutely fantastic. She knew the menu inside and out, was incredibly helpful and understanding, and even offered options I did not realize were available, including the daily special. I ordered the beef barley soup and was pleasantly surprised to find actual chunks of beef in it, not just ground meat. For my meal, I had the chicken strip sandwich, and you could tell immediately that it was made with quality breast meat. The cooks clearly know what they are doing because everything came out exactly as expected, flavorful and well prepared. The atmosphere adds to the experience as well. Even the coffee mug I received with my tea had a local logo on it, which gave the whole place a warm, small town, homey feeling. It reminded me of eating a home cooked meal at Grandma’s house. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back!
