BirriaHolic - Allentown

Llorraine Ive been wanting to try this spot for a while, but they’re only open on certain days. When we finally made it, we ordered at their easy-to-use kiosk. We tried the birria tacos for me and my son, plus the birria and cheese empanadas. The food was excellent, super flavorful, and generous portions. There was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. Prices are on the higher side, but you get good quality in return. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend if youre craving good birria!

William Cramer We stopped in after the Steelers game yesterday and were seated quickly. Nya was our server and she was great! She was attentive and very personable. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap with a salad and my wife got the Santa Fe wrap with black bean salsa. The food was great and Nya checked in periodically to see if we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back.

Kyle Doll Most dishes are fantastic and the service and atmosphere are lovely. Would highly recommend the Gnocchi pasta, both linguine and fettuccine dishes with the asparagus are not that well done unfortunately. The angle hair red sauce is quite fantastic as well. Tiramisu was quite light yet creamy and certainly delicious. Free bread in the form of garlic rolls and simple slices are provided with oil and oregano at the table.

Trophys Bar And Grill - Johnstown

Rating: 4 /5
Matthew Haslett Had a late lunch today at Trophys Bar and Grill, our first time ever eating at this establishment. Their new location is in the old Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Saint Clair Rd. and that was our main reason for going: to check out the architecture of the building, the stained glass windows, etc. The stained glass windows are beautiful and looked to be well preserved. The building itself is cool, very much what youd expect from a church in this area, nice and open inside, very high ceilings, really cool setting and nice to see the building being put to use after being listed for sale (Im not sure why it is no longer a church, I dont know the history of it, I just know it used to be a church and now it is not). The setting was very peaceful and we liked it! The service was great, regretfully we didnt catch the name of our server but she was very pleasant and attentive. The food was very good and I felt especially compelled to post a review because of a prior 1-star review that was posted about the "disgusting food". Whenever I see a 1-star review that is completely negative and the person has nothing at all good, or at least neutral, to say about a place, I question the veracity of the statement. The owner replied to the "review" in a very professional manner and that really resonated with me, the fact that they took the time to reply to something very professionally while the review seemed like a "hit piece" and didnt seem like it warranted much, if any, of a response. For the record, I do not know anyone connected with this establishment, I just dont like to see a small business run into the ground for something that was more than likely a one-off problem, if there was even any problem in the first place. Social media is great in that it allows you to browse businesses and get a feel for somewhere with never having been there, but as with so many things, it is a double-edged sword that also allows people to post things that almost surely should have been handled in person or via a phone call. It was not stated that the reviewer attempted to resolve the issue prior to their post, and to me thats not fair to the business whatsoever, they should be given the chance to rectify the situation before being "put on blast" by someone sitting behind a keyboard. I ordered the Reuben sandwich not only because I like that sandwich in general, but I specifically wanted to see how it was here and I can say that it was delicious! Whenever we stop in again I will definitely order it (after having sampled some of the other tasty sounding offerings)!! We also had the toasted ravioli, fried pickles, a hearty hamburger, mac & cheese, and chicken tenders, and everything was delicious and served promptly. To top it off, our 2 1/2 year old daughter really enjoyed the food, and anyone that knows kids knows that they will most definitely let you know if something is not up to their standards and she was happy with everything she had/sampled! :)

Francisco Luna Im from North Jersey, was riding my motorcycle around the area, and found this gem at google maps. Ordered an arepa, stuffed with shredded beef, beans, guacamole and cheese, dressed with garlic vinaigrette; yucca sticks with the combo...Oh it was delicious! as a Colombian I got the "flavor" from the first bite, I can tell the meat was well marinated and the arepa was crusty and tasty. Love love the yucca sticks!. Heidy the owner was super nice and friendly. Im glad I found this restaurant for my future trips!
