Alfonso Vivar I stopped for dinner with my family and enjoyed every food available. The food all seemed fresh and they also had a great variety. Food experience was great, but they could put a little more effort on decor and making sure drinks and food have labels. Im not Dominican myself so my sister in law who is Dominican explained the dishes to us. The place was not sparkling shining clean but was not dirty either. If Im in the area craving for Dominican food will definitely come back. Super cheap keeping in mind the buffet has oxtail and lamb options.

Cody Bucholz I ordered two fish dinners to go for my daughter and I. They were done very quickly And even though they did not have their normal type of fish, it was amazing! We got mahi-mahi instead of Haddock because that is what they had. We got three generous size tenders that were breaded with an awesome batter. My daughter got french fries and broccoli and I had a baked potato and coleslaw. Under 40$ and so so good! The girl that gave me my order was so sweet and invited us back! We will definitely be going back!

Julie Reyes A beautiful hidden gem tucked away in West Reading! We came here to celebrate our 3rd anniversary, and everything from start to finish was simply wonderful. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a cozy, library-inspired setting, books, warmth, and charm everywhere! Waiting for us at our table was a sweet little card that said “Happy Anniversary”, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, and the service couldn’t have been better. Now… the food. Oh. My. God. Absolutely divine! The kind of meal that makes you go quiet just so you can savor every bite. The drinks were just as amazing, and they even surprised us with complimentary champagne to toast our anniversary (so delicious!). The only small downside is that the tables are a bit close together, but honestly, that’s a minor detail compared to how phenomenal everything else was.

Mike McIntyre I ordered the "Picnic in the Park" lunch special, which is a cup of soup and half sandwich. The She-crab soup with sherry bisque was delicious. It was topped with roe and chives, an extra touch which you wont often find. The sandwich came on a warm baguette filled with a very generous pile of Parisienne ham. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for something other than the same-old fare.
