Emily Gilbert I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and I have to say that Lacey, my waitress, was absolutely fantastic. She knew the menu inside and out, was incredibly helpful and understanding, and even offered options I did not realize were available, including the daily special.
I ordered the beef barley soup and was pleasantly surprised to find actual chunks of beef in it, not just ground meat. For my meal, I had the chicken strip sandwich, and you could tell immediately that it was made with quality breast meat. The cooks clearly know what they are doing because everything came out exactly as expected, flavorful and well prepared.
The atmosphere adds to the experience as well. Even the coffee mug I received with my tea had a local logo on it, which gave the whole place a warm, small town, homey feeling. It reminded me of eating a home cooked meal at Grandma’s house.
I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back!
