Bones Hot Rod Bar & Grill - Cressona

Rating: 4.4 /5
David Stamets The Springer burger, waffle fries, appetizers, and garlic spicy wings were on point. Best bar food Ive had in a long time. I will definitely come back! A must-try! I took my younger children, and they were extremely pleased to see Santas little helpers there. Great Christmas spirit!

Candelores Dog House Diner - Elizabeth

Cheryl Sorensen Ordered breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. The staff were all friendly and the ambiance was relaxed with lots of dog photos everywhere. I would definitely come back again to try out their lunch offerings.

Nicolettas Family Restaurant - Altoona

Rating: 4.3 /5
gregg schorner All the breakfast staples, but went for the breakfast pizza, which was awesome awesome! Centrally located on 17th street, easy to get in and out of, with plenty of parking. Family friendly (a number of tables with toddlers) and better prices than the chain restaurants in town. Lots of seating, counter service, booths, and large tables. They even have several banquet rooms for private functions.

Waltz Creamery & Farm House Cafe - Salladasburg

Rating: 4.7 /5
Massimo Waltz Creamery is the kind of place that makes you feel like you stumbled onto a local gem, and it’s not just because of the generous scoops that could feed a small family. The ice cream is rich, fresh, and clearly made with care—every bite tastes like real ingredients instead of something mass-produced. Portions are huge, the kind where you laugh when it hits the table because you know you’re in for a challenge. The prices are surprisingly affordable for what you get, which makes it even better. The staff couldn’t be friendlier—warm, patient, and genuinely happy to see you enjoy yourself, which adds to the welcoming vibe of the place. The inside has this comfortable, small-town feel with hints of history in its décor and story, and you can sense that this creamery and farm house cafe has been around long enough to mean something to the community. Between the atmosphere, the people, the prices, and the quality, it’s one of those spots you end up wanting to come back to again and again.

Wheels Bar & Grill - Mountain Top

Cole Heffner This is the "dive bar" of your DREAMS. Fun place with electronic darts, pool, shuffle board, TVs everywhere, skill machines, you name it. Also turns out the wings were awesome. 100% the place to take the guys.
