The Nickle Plate Bar & Grill - Elysburg

Aidan Blust We were on an outing at Knoebels with the pup over the weekend. We were looking for somewhere that was dog friendly to grab some food on the way home. After searching around, we came upon here. They have a large outdoor seating section which is covered from the elements. After we sat down, we were greeted by our very friendly server Kiersten. She grabbed drink orders and was super accommodating to our pup. Bringing her a water dish and bowl of lettuce (her fav treat.) We placed our app order of Pretzels w/Cheese. It was good as expected and came out fast! We looked over the menu and decided to go with the Mexican Power Bowl and the PB&J Burger w/ a side salad. To say the food was just good would be an understatement. Our meals were packed with all around flavor and were very filling! I highly recommend getting the Burger, it may not be the your “average” toppings but it is delicious!! In conclusion, I highly recommend checking this place out. The staff is super friendly, attentive and the food is tasty and affordable!

Jeff Schermerhorn Very unique and very cool establishment lakeside. Definitely a hidden gem. A fight for cancer benefit bike run brought me there, and I am definitely going back !

Luca Pizza West Pittston - West Pittston

Bill s Yum. I tried the plain cheese pizza. I love that the cheese isnt a gloppy mess that falls off when you pick it up. Nice thin crunchy crust. Easy to order and pay online. Its the perfect NY style pizza IMO. $16 for a large is totally reasonable. Ill definitely try their other pizzas soon.

High Street Restaurant & Bar - Philadelphia

Dev Meley This restaurant deserves a Michelin. The bread itself is the best in the city and is well incorporated in multiple dishes which makes this restaurant unique. I tried a bit of everything from drinks to food. The pastrami sandwich was meaty and full of flavor as other reviews mentioned. Definitely worth trying if your hungry. The chicken sandwich is everything people are saying and is delicious with a unique taste. The avocado toast though is a delight and is the most popular item here and I can see why. If you are looking for a brunch item then that is it! Its so well done and that alone is worth a visit here. Brussel sprouts were very good if your into that. Soup of the day was really good too! The drinks were all great but the stand out which wasnt on the menu was the expresso martini! It was so good thats the one item I didnt take a picture lol. It was well done and is one of the best in the city. All the servers and hosts were great and attentive and the food came out promptly. I was seated pretty fast and the sounds and ambience was on point! I plan to come back again very soon! Thank you!

Bloom Southern Kitchen - Chester Springs

Mary C Update: Still love this place! We ended up coming back for my birthday and went during happy hour—such a great choice. Karston and Kasey at the bar were absolutely amazing. They were the perfect team making their signature Bloom cocktail and even tailoring it to my taste. Super engaging, extremely friendly, and they really make you feel special. We started with the crab cakes, which were very good, but I definitely would’ve liked more than two. The shrimp and grits were also delicious—just could’ve used a bit more andouille sausage to make it perfect. The short rib was fantastic as well, though the sauce was a little strong, almost vinegar-forward, but the mashed potatoes helped balance it out. I had the salmon on my last visit and it’s still my favorite dish so far. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the beignets. On their own, both were great, but together they tasted like a secret menu item—they had no business pairing that well. Overall, this is still one of my favorite places to go and that won’t be changing anytime soon. Great food + great service every time. Whoever hired those two behind the bar deserves a raise. Original post: We discovered Bloom in Chester Springs while going out for our 21st anniversary, and wow—what an amazing find! It’s southern comfort food with a flair, and the decor strikes the perfect balance between homey and chic (and they have the nicest restaurant bathroom I’ve ever seen). Happy hour is definitely the way to go here—you can snag great deals on both food and drinks. Our waitress/bartender Emily was an absolute gem—super sweet, friendly, and attentive. She chatted with us throughout the evening and made a killer mojito. We started with the Nashville deviled eggs, which had a unique seasoning twist that really set them apart. I had the Florida Mango Salmon, quite possibly the best salmon I’ve ever eaten—I’m dying to know the seasoning they use! My husband got the Pimento Cheese Double Smashburger, and it was out of this world. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake bread pudding was very good, but the monkey bread was next-level amazing. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and unforgettable food—we’ll definitely be back!
