The Packer House - (Near Sunbury, PA)

Cris Dahlgren I stopped here on a couple oddly spaced visits to the area. First visit was a twist with chocolate dip. Always fun but as with all dips the base ice cream melts quickly. 2nd stop I had a 2 scoop hard ice cream. Standard tasty hersheys ice cream. 1 scoop Apple pie and 1 scoop moose tracks. I ate my ice cream while I waited for my philly cheese steak sandwich. While not cooked on a grill as they do at "Johns Pizza" in Frazier PA (won an award for best philly cheese steak in greater Philly) this philly cheesesteak was quite good. Meat, prov cheese, onions and peppers. Had it been chopped and stirred on a grill it would be 5 stars. But for $7 it was a bargain!

Desiree Shanahan It makes me sad that it took me over a year of living around the corner to realize I could walk there. Great food all the time. I even went as far as picking something off the menu I would never order from any place and it was great.

Jason Beddia We went for supper Saturday night. It was packed. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. Service was a little slow, but again, it was packed. The four of us ate for around $80. Burgers were huge. Nachos were overflowing the plate. Soft pretzels werent as soft as I like, but otherwise a great experience. Will definitely go back.

Nichole I don’t review very often but I just wanted to say that this place is great. The people who work here rock. Jordy is an amazing bartender who kicks some serious butt.

Daisy Donovan The employee demonstrated exceptional patience during our initial visit. As first-time patrons, we were unfamiliar with the menu and took some time to decide on our order. Her kindness and friendly demeanor, including a consistent smile, were greatly appreciated. We plan to return to sample additional flavors.

Madison Brooks How have I lived here for 3 years and never eaten at Buddy Clark’s??? Bar staff were super friendly, welcoming, and prompt. Bar food was some of the best I’ve had around the Scranton area. Wings were crisp to perfection and the sauce was the right combination of sweet and salty, got the Cajun honey and hot garlic parm. The summer salad was pleasantly delicious and had the right balance of non-lettuce ingredients, they didn’t skimp. I only saw the bar area, but it’s cutely decorated with the flowers on the ceiling and clean. I think this’ll be my new local go to.
