The Pike Steakhouse & Pub - (Near Johnstown, PA)

2 /5 Grant Butler: Everyone told us this place was so great. We went there and were so disappointed. I worry that it was because they were under staffed there was 1 bar tender and 1 waiter. My wife and I came for our anniversary, and were ready to splurg. Unfortunately the best part was the onion rings that we got for an appetizer. I asked for some ranch to dip them in, and the waiter completely forgot. I got the "The Chefs Cut" steak with Mac & Cheese & the "famous" twice baked potatoes. The the whole thing was less than mediocre with Ruths Chris prices. The bone in ribeye was cooked right in the middle, but none of the fat was rendered, and there was no sear or crust on the outside. Overall it was underseasoned & not cooked very well. The twice baked potatoes were Ying & Yang the top was beautiful & delicious. (Usually the potato is hollowed out and filled) the UNDER cooked potato itself was just cut in half then topped with the "filling". The macaroni & cheese tasted a lot like a fancy version of a boxed mac & cheese. Then my soda when it was empty and he finally got around to refilling it filled it with just water. The bill was over $100 for 2 people and no alcohol. This was a serious disappointment for our special anniversary dinner.

5 /5 Viola Sand: This was our first time eating here and let me say it was the best steak we ever ate! The triple chocolate mousse pie was divine. Everything was perfect will definitely be coming back!

5 /5 Bob Ramires: My son and I went on a Thursday evening. Recommend making reservations. Dining room is a bit small. We both got an unbelievable steak cooked to perfection. By the time we were finished, the placed was packed. Our waitress was serving by herself but was very attentive and professional. She kept apologizing but there was really no need. She was awesome. I will definitely be back.

5 /5 Edward Sheets: Took my dad here for his birthday dinner. We had heard how good the steaks were and I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks Ive ever had. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. Highly recommend checking them out for dinner or drinks.

4 /5 John Burke: Very small restaurant. Next to no parking. Great food. Service was ok but they were really busy when we were there so understandably so. We went with a big party. 7 or 8 of us. Thats way too many. If youre going here, go with 2 or 4 max! Their dining room is cramped. Their steak is worth it. Awesome steak. Reasonably priced.
