3 /5 Sophia Emerick: Overall nice place, neat atmosphere and vibe, calm and quiet inside. The food was good but lacked in some ways. The chips and salsa were really great, the salsa tasted really fresh and homemade. My husband had French onion soup which was also great. My husband had steak which was really fatty, and tough to eat. It was a huge steak with a lot of bbq sauce slathered on it. It was definitely not a steak I would expect to come out of the kitchen, especially after the good appetizers. The mashed potatoes and carrots that came with the steak were excellent, so Im not sure why the steak was subpar and very fatty. He was unable to eat most of it, which is disappointing for the price.
I had a mushroom melt which was good, but it was just on a single slice of bread, not a sandwich or traditional melt like I thought it would be. The menu eluded it would be hand held, since it was in the hands section. The service was good and our waiter was nice and friendly. We didnt have drinks, but the drinks sounded and looked good. If they did better on the steak, this place would be out of the park good!
