Trena Hill Im visiting Pittsburgh from NY and I googled Carribean Food. Although it was a 20 minute drive from my hotel... the food is worth the trip. Nicole is very welcoming as you enter her restaurant. I ordered the oxtail dinner and the barbi fried chicken. Both meals were delicious.

The New Italian Oven - Connellsville

Rating: 4.4 /5
Amy Leonard We used to go to Italian Oven all the time, but our local one closed. So happy to see this one reopened with new management. The menu is the same and still delicious. We got the garlic bread appetizer and pizza for lunch. Its just as good as it used to be. Highly recommend the garlic bread. The pizza was good, although the pepperoni was pretty greasy. Sorry, forgot to take a pic of the garlic bread when it was full.

Courtney Mcmath We camp about 40 minutes from here. Stopped by for lunch. Sooooo good. Fast service. Pizza is huge and we asked for extra cheese. They did not disappoint!

Fishers Boston Pierogies - Shamokin

Rating: 4.7 /5
Blake Remensnyder Best shop for pierogies I have come across in PA yet, extremely friendly staff. The cost is justified as you will not find better “church pierogies” anywhere in the state. Drive an hour plus to stock up every time but is well worth the trip, if you’re looking for high quality pierogies this is the place to stop. As a disclaimer make sure to bring cash/check (no card option) and a small cooler if buying in bulk.

jessab 13 This historic site is rich in American heritage and culture. The building is very well preserved and you are able to walk around and look at their different exhibits before or after you eat. The food was very comforting and delicious! We split a chicken pot pie with the puff pastry crust, and the beef puff appetizers. All the food was incredible, and our server was great. She was very attentive, kind, and fulfilled all of our needs as guests. I would highly recommend this historic site for a good meal along with some good American history.
