Heaven Carney My boyfriend and I accidentally showed up 5 minutes to close and the owner was kind enough to still take our order. Our food was prepared in under 5 minutes and was incredible. Very kind staff and wonderful food. Definitely will be back!

T M First time visiting this restaurant. Warmly greeted and sat outside. Beautiful sunny day with temp around 70* whilst inside the restaurant it was packed, dark and loud. Loads of happy customers enjoying the fellowship and food. Outside was quiet and calm. Our server couldnt have been more helpful. The food was great and prices were average across the board. Great place!

Nick Absolutely the Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing. Huge portions and the service was great. The only thing off was the place is set up like it’s Covid still and the seating was all blocked off. Two stars taken away for that on atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and asked twice to make sure I ordered the right thing. Definitely recommend.

Aaron Jones TLDR: Yes, worthy of the 5 stars. Today was my first time experiencing Brooklyn Place and I must say that I am very pleased. Went in thinking it was just a Cafe and I wanted to support a local Cafe in my area of Reading, to my surprise it is a full restaurant. The staff is very polite and go above and beyond for their customers. Nice quiet place, comfortable atmosphere and plenty of parking in this shopping center. My order was a large iced coffee, a veggie omelette with home fries, rye toast and a side of sausage. Total cost was $18 and some change. Iced coffee: Best I have ever had. I have previously worked in cafes and Starbucks, also I am a coffee fiend, and try new places often. In my 37 years on this planet, I have never had an iced coffee this good. Just with cream and sugar. Veggie Omelette: Delicious, but a tad bit on the greasy side. Very fair with the ingredients/fillings, without being too dense, still fluffy. Home Fries: Soft, golden brown, seasoned cubes of joy. Very good. Personally I would like them fried just a little longer to give them a light crunch. Rye Toast and Sausage: Bagged Rye sandwich bread, not seeded. Basic, but honestly we dont need some fancy bread or anything like that. A thumbs up for the toast and sausage links. Definitely will be coming back and bringing family. They got themselves a new recurring customer.

dixon kitonyo Passed this place so many times and decided to try on Saturday afternoon.The outside doesnt look like much but the food was amazing. The inside is pretty retro and homey. Everything tasted home made and the fried chicken was the best we ever had and the mint jelly with the lamb really made it. The chicken soup " with all the good things" was great. Service was fast and pleasant. Definitely dont overlook this place. Was too full for dessert but they had large selection of home made pies.
