BL UPUPDATE Friday 6-6-25 Drove up from Corpus Christi just to eat at Deborahs. No disappointment as it was Great food with Great Service. Hard to beat. Of course we will be back. Highly recommend UPDATE-Thursday 09/19/24 My wife and I drove back up from the Corpus Christi (Sinton) area just to eat lunch at Deborahs. My wife has the pecan crusted chicken and I had the chicken fried chicken. EXCELLENT again! The atmosphere is great, the food is excellent. Great home cooking. Would highly recommend it. Sebastian Agudelo We were driving in from out of state toward Houston when we decided to stop for breakfast after a long stretch on the road. We didn’t expect much except a quick bite. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with one of the friendliest and most welcoming atmospheres we’ve ever experienced. The Break of Day Breakfast Shop not only serves amazing food, but their hospitality truly makes the visit memorable. If you ever find yourself on Highway 59 in this area, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s the very definition of home-style cooking with genuine Texas Southern hospitality.

Renee Wilson We were easily able to make a reservation for a Saturday evening for our party of 4. As out of town tourists and Magnolia fans, we knew it would be good. We were all beyond pleased with our experience! From the first interaction with our exceptional hostess, Jill, to the after dinner stroll on the rooftop, it was all sensational! Jill was so professional and kind, with the perfect qualities of a hostess. She was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and a pure delight! For starters, we ordered the cornbread with honey butter and seasonal jam as well as the cowboy caviar, both melt in your mouth delicious! We shared our entrees and 2 meals for 2 couples was just right. Our friends got the cheeseburger with steak fries and said it was the best ever. We had cedar plank salmon with Brussels sprouts and rice pilaf. While the entire entree was yummy, the Brussels sprouts were phenomenal! Another perk of sharing a meal was that we had room for dessert! The biscuit peach cobbler was incredible as was the Dr. Pepper cake! Everyone agreed it was the favorite dinner meal we had on our trip, which included many awesome dinners!!

Delaney Brown The food here is amazing and you have to try it! But what really made our dinner here special was the service. We had lots of questions about which entree to choose and Viv took us through all the options and explained the seasonality of the menu, and which dishes are extra delicious, and even how the cook working on the station that makes the bolognese that night makes it the best of all the cooks, and sings while she is working. It felt really special and thoughtful like you went to dinner at a fun families house and they were really good cooks, and really good hosts, and like everything was made with love. Special thanks to Viv especially, she had perfect technical service but also was just super nice and made us feel good and really welcome. The whole place feels nice and upscale - but also its not stuffy at all which is hard to do. 10/10!
