Applebees Grill + Bar - (Near Palestine, TX)

1 /5 Zebadiah: Did curbside to go they were late, ordered two fries they gave us two containers but not enough fries for one order, ordered a full rack of ribs gave half, but broke it in two. Then while going in to get it because they were unable to go out they made an assumption that it was our order based on skin color. All ready followed the link that they will give for leaving a poor review and no response.

5 /5 Enrique Ozuna: "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in..." I will start with that quote. I didnt want to give another bad review of food places here, but this location asked for it. My beautiful Wife and I decided to go to applebees and use a BOGO coupon. Here we go. First the place has gone to crap in looks and quality. This location lately has had a horrible smell of sewage or lack of cleaning in the restrooms. Ive smelled truck stops better that this. To start my wife ordered a white wine, her glass was dirty. We ordered wings (which in the past were better than other wing places.) I ordered them extra extra extra crispy (like we like them), well they came back soggy and raw, blood dripping after taking a bite. Also ordered a bacon cheeseburger with smokehouse sauce or something like that, well as the burger shows, hardly any sauce in it. I asked for mayo, and they brought out smears of mayo. The response was, "thats how they do it". I asked for another mayo, they brought out another "thats how they do it". Horrible service and food, dirty glass, smelled like we were eating in a port-a-john. There was a manager walking around asking other tables if everything was OK. We were avoided the whole time, for the price we paid, even with a BOGO deal, we should have gotten more than we did. It is unfortunate, because we really liked applebees, maybe a management issue, or probably crew just doesnt give a crap. (no pun intended). Would be nice if this place straightened out, because there is a real lack of restaurants in Palestine. Well thats all I gotta say about that. Revised: Well after a few discussions, we made it back to Applebees Palestine. I will have to be very honest...The food and service was 11/10. We were very pleased with the service Vanessa provided and the food was a 10. We tried to go back over this past weekend, but Vanessa was not there, we were told. We will be going back and try those wings again...Ill cross my fingers. Overall, my Beautiful Wife and I were happy customers again. Keep up the good service and food quality.

1 /5 Mason Romano: I ordered a salad without any chicken, there was chicken on the salad that arrived. I nicely asked for a remake with no chicken as I am a vegetarian and lack the enzymes to digest chicken and other meat. The same salad came back with most of the chicken picked off and multiple pieces at the bottom of the salad. When I pointed this out I was told “sorry,” nothing was done about it, and i was still charged for the salad. customer service felt very inconsiderate, unwelcome and rude. Restaurant was clean, would have been nice to at least have the salad taken off the check.

1 /5 Roxanne Chandler: Its always something, every time we go, there is always a problem. Whether there is no a/c, no servers, bad servers, food was wrong or cold. We havent eaten there in almost a year and we decided to order online. My husband was going to use the grab n go and they told him they wont go out after dark. So he needed to wait inside (understandable), but now its been an hour since we ordered and still havent gotten our food. They are busy and only have 2 servers. (I suppose they are short staffed in the back as well.) I was hoping to have a better experience this time since its been so long and we have heard better things. Most likely will cancel our order if its not ready soon and they havent updated us. If the food comes out fresh then I will revise this post, but I doubt it.

5 /5 Terra Mitchell: Our service was amazing! Christon was our server and she provided the best service. We were a group of 10 with four kids under the age of six. She was absolutely fantastic. The Grinch was there and provided lots of entertainment for our kiddos
