1 /5 carcyn naquin: My wife and I are frequent visitors of Applebees, we typically go anywhere from 2-4 times a month for our date nights, so I say this as a customer and valued attendant of Applebees, that the customer service, host, and waitress of this location were appalling. Let this location not be a stain on the franchise as a whole, there were two employees who really seemed to be trying to provide a level of service above and beyond an older waitress and the bartender. The host had his pants almost around his ankles, with a gold chain and was doing gang signs leading us to our table, and our waitress was very rude, frequently messed up our order, and all in just very poor at providing any service whatsoever. To clarify this, the restaurant was not understaffed or overboooked 4 waiters and waitresses were attending a half empty restaurant. After we were seated we waited 25 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then another 20 minutes for salads, and 20 minutes more for our main course. Over the course of an hour and a half the waitress asked to refill our glasses once. - and I say that to say this the food isn’t bad the food was really decent, and fairly priced same as would pay at any other branch, but after the encounter with the staff just crushing it at drawing paychecks rather than actually caring about their jobs I don’t think we will ever return to this branch. There’s another branch in Richardson where the service is on par with quality food and even though it’s 10 miles further away I would much rather go to that branch than ever step foot back in this one!
