Bar Louie - Sugarland - (Near Sugar Land, TX)

5 /5 Shauna Barbato: In from out of town and stopped in for a quick bite. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing because the food was fantastic. Not sure why there is not a lot of people here on a Saturday afternoon, but I would expect this place to be booming in the evenings. Come on out it’s awesome!

3 /5 Rachael Davis: I visited the establishment for the first time today around 4pm. I saw a meal special that was too good to pass. It’s self seating,which is cool. Shortly after I sat at my chosen table,I was greeted by a server named Chelsea. She was polite and even informed me of some Monday specials,which was greatly appreciated. Where my experience became dampened was when I noticed that outside of Chelsea bringing my ordered items,she never verbally checked on me during my meal to see how my meal was,to refresh my water or suggest sale on any other items. Even when she brought the Toast handheld,she only asked if I was ready to pay. I gave her some helpful feedback because I see her potential,but I’m not sure when I may be back. Considering it was only a few patrons in the establishment,I would think there would’ve been just a bit more attentiveness. The food was delicious and so was my beverage.

5 /5 Harvey Hilton: This is one of those spots I keep coming back to without even thinking about it. The service is usually on point, the staff is friendly, and they actually seem like they enjoy being there, which makes a big difference. I’m a simple order kind of person here: burger, fries, and drinks. The burgers are consistently solid, fries hit the spot, and the drinks are really the main character…good pours, fun options, and you don’t feel like you’re getting played on the price. The vibe fits the area perfectly: chill enough to grab a casual bite, but still lively enough to feel like you’re “out.” On some Fridays they have a DJ, and when he’s on, it turns into a nice little low-key turn-up without being chaotic. It’s a cool experience if you’re trying to stay local but still want some energy. Overall, if you’re in Sugar Land and want good drinks, solid bar food, and a relaxed-but-fun atmosphere, Bar Louie is an easy yes.

4 /5 DeLayne: I liked how they had outdoor seating and a spacious area. Bartender was good along with drinks. Conveniently located in the area too.
