Beyond Burger - (Near Texas City, TX)

Robert Mendoza This place is awesome!!!! Matthew the server was extremely helpful. We chose two turkey dinners, one turkey sandwich combo and a sweet French Toast Combo. He explained that after 4pm they give a free pancake. There is good music from a colorful Jukebox and all the employees including the manager are all friendly and ready to serve you. This was our first experience dining at this restaurant. We will continue to stop by and have another great meal and make more memories.

NateMFJ This was our first restaurant visit since moving to Lufkin, so we were excited to try something new. We walked in during a busy breakfast rush, but there were still plenty of open tables. Once we reached the front of the line, the young lady behind the counter greeted us right away, took our order, and handed us our cups. The drink station was clean and stocked with a good selection. We grabbed a table—both the tables and floors were clean—and within about 10 minutes our food arrived. I ordered the French Toast Combo, which came with four slices of French toast, two eggs, sausage, and seasoned potatoes. The meal came out on two plates, and everything was spot on. The French toast had a perfect light crunch on the outside while staying pillowy soft inside. The scrambled eggs and sausage were solid, and the seasoned potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. My wife ordered the Breakfast BLT—bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg, and Duke’s mayo. She added a little hot sauce and absolutely loved it. Not a crumb left! She liked it so much that we also picked up a tub of their chicken salad to take home, and it was delicious later that day—no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back to Roost to try more of their menu!

Susan Reyes Had dinner with my son and daughter in law last night at Francisco’s. Beautiful building inside and out. Nice atmosphere. Great service. The food was great. We had Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and Fried Shrimp. Good size parking lot across the street with crosswalks next to the Guadalupe River and along the street.

bryan Arias I went to Cafe J with a friend for brunch on Saturday. We both ordered the chicken fried steak (me with biscuits and my friend with waffles). The food came out savory and well portioned! I give Cafe J big props on how they cook there asparagus. The price was affordable for the portion. Overall 4.5/5 stars Would recommend the restaurant

Dr. Natasha Donehue My first time here, but certainly not my last. The service was amazing, my waitress was very attentive and the manager was also very personable. The food was flavorful and the portion were a filling size. I will return to try other dishes.

Linda Laredo We had a great experience at Stella’s Italian Restaurant. Every meal we ordered was excellent—everything tasted amazing, including the desserts, which were just as impressive. As soon as we walked in, we were seated right away without a reservation, but it’s definitely important to check ahead of time because the restaurant gets busy. Pricing per person ranges from $30 and up, which feels fair for the quality of food and service. The bathrooms were clean, and the service was truly on point. We’ll definitely be back.
