Bigos Bar & Grill - Paredes - (Near Brownsville, TX)

Antonio Balboa A group of us went by to try this local spot out. I heard they had an amazing beer selection so wanted to try out some new brews. The beer selection is unmatched in Brownsville. They have a few local breweries on tap, which is nice to see them supporting local businesses. They have a crazy variety of beers on draft and bottled/can. We came for the drinks but the food was very good as well. I had the brisket and sausage with beans and Mac and it was all super good. Atmosphere is great, we even decided to go outside to play some corn-hole. The entire vibe is great. They had good music playing inside and outside. I just wish that they had some live music or karaoke on the nice stage they have outside.

P C A must stop while in FW Stockyards Mule Alley. The food is outstanding as is the service and ambience. The Birria tacos are excellent. The carne asada skewers may be the best thing on the menu. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but there could be a wait. There is also bar seating. The drink menu is top shelf.

Kathi Fasching What a great Spot! We just happened to be walking by while enjoying the seawall and decided to pop in for some drinks and snacks and it totally hit the spot! Great cocktails and a lovely view of the Gulf and Pleasure Pier. We also ordered the sampler of their appetizers and it was so much food we had to ask for a to go box. Super yummy shrimp and OMG the cheese sticks!! Loved are very attentive waiter and oh course the atmosphere.

Tiffanie Cutrer This place was the perfect lunch spot while traveling through Junction. Comfortable dining areas, great food, great service and clean restrooms! I had the chicken fried steak with queso gravy. Yum! My family had a classic cheeseburger, a patty melt and the chicken strip burger. All was delicious. We travel through Junction a few times a year and we will definitely be back!!

Alieshia Thomas YA’LL - Listen… this West Texas Ragu Pappardelle had no business being this good. One bite and I was ready to call my grandma and tell her . It tastes like generations of moms and grandmas got together, threw down in the kitchen, and whispered, “Baby, this is how it’s done.” The pasta? Not overcooked — thank God — because nothing ruins my mood faster than mushy noodles. This pappardelle came out soft, thick, and sexy, like it knew exactly what it was doing. The sauce isn’t too tomato-y either. It’s smooth, balanced, and hits your taste buds like a soft little “hey boo.” And the meat? Tender with a nice chew… honestly, softer than half the men out here. It’s got that comforting old-school flavor with a little Texas twist that makes you wanna slap the table and say, “WHO MADE THIS!?” Top-Chef Joey gets 5stars from this pickey eater someone give him a raise for this dish!
