Donald Kowalewski Wow. No wonder Haywire boasts awards for the best BBQ in SATX! Absolutely the best brisket and ribs I’ve ever had. Shout out to the potato salad - I am not normally a fan of tater salad, but that side was really tasty. Service is cafeteria style and seating is family style. A beautiful park provides outdoor seating during the cooler months. There are no reservations, but the line moves quickly. The attention to detail goes all the way to taste-testing the fountain drink dispenser. Dining area and service areas were super -clean (no sticky residue on tables so common to BBQ joints). Plan an hour for your meal and for goodness sake, do NOT have a big breakfast and /or lunch beforehand! I will return to SATX just to eat here again!

L J Conley Dont come here if you want bland food lol. They did not disappoint at all. Presentation, portions, service were all great. Took my family during the weekend so some items i was unable to enjoy due to them being on the weekdays, but shrimp & grits, selection french toast, and white fish breakfast plate were all very delicious. We also selected their passion fruit and blueberry lemonade. Both were sweet. Inside decor, very clean chill vibe with good R&B hits playing. We arrived right around 10, right before the slam so no wait for us! I would recommend their waiting area be rearranged for those to sit and wait and consider adding dark meat to their chicken and waffles menu. Our server was attentive and pleasant as well. Great place for any occasion.

Daniel Garcia It was my first time here but it was very enjoyable. The food, the service and the atmosphere great. I will be coming again. We were sat down quickly and attended to right away. Every question I had was knowledgeably answered. It had a sports bar feel but was not loud. There were tvs everywhere with sports, a bar and an outside area to eat. I did see a sign about live music later at night. This will go on my list of places to regular from now on.

David Gorsich My wife and I spent a couple days on the outskirts of Fredericksburg mainly for some R&R and a few outdoor adventures. We wanted a nice meal you can only get here. After some searching we found this place and checked it out. My wife got the brisket tacos with bone marrow, I get the red beef enchiladas, and we got a side of Elote and Hangos. This food was absolutely delicious. The chef is creating and blending flavors like no other. Definitely a place worth visiting while you are here.

Christine Cochran Great atmosphere that the locals seem to love. The nicest owners ever! I got a burger to go while I was driving through town. Small place, nearly packed at lunch time. The burger tasted good but it didnt make me pass out with joy or anything. Maybe its cuz I didnt try the special sauce lol.
