Alicia Lopez Went there a few weeks ago and still craving what I ordered that day. I went with my dad and brother who got this steak platter it was decent, was expecting better but we still ate it! I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and man it was good. Y’all definitely need to try. Staff was friendly

Rosamaria Gonzalez Today, we visited this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant’s cuisine is a blend of Mexican and Tex-Mex flavors. In my opinion, the walls are somewhat cluttered with advertisements for beverage brands and other information. The food was exceptionally well-seasoned and flavorful and served hot. My husband ordered a whole fried fish, which he was very pleased with, particularly the presentation and the taste of the seasoning. I ordered green enchiladas, which were delicious. The portions are quite generous, allowing for leftovers or reheating at home. While some individuals may not prefer reheating, we generally find that it does not compromise the quality of the food. The restaurant’s atmosphere is pleasant, but I found the music to be excessively loud, which detracts from the ambiance and ability to fully enjoy a meal. Additionally, the color scheme of the decorations is predominantly dark and somber. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We always check the indoor temperature of a restaurant, and this establishment was comfortable, given the warm outdoor temperatures.

Tobin Ross **Updated Review – Under New Ownership** I wanted to share an update after visiting The Loft again under new ownership, and I can honestly say it’s better than ever. The interior has been completely refreshed, and the new finish looks amazing. Modern, clean, and still cozy. It really elevates the whole experience while keeping the charm that makes The Loft feel like a local favorite. The new owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the place and the people who walk through the door. That personal touch goes a long way and makes the atmosphere even better than before. While calzones are no longer on the menu, they’ve added paninis — and they are **awesome**. Perfectly pressed, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. The menu changes feel thoughtful and fresh, and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into making everything top-notch. The Loft continues to be a standout spot in Whitewright, and it’s exciting to see it thriving with new energy and care behind it. If you haven’t stopped by since the change in ownership, it’s absolutely worth a visit — highly recommended!
