Cameo64 First, the interior has really nice seating. Love the snugs on the wall, big tables, lots of TVs and comfy bar stools. The wood decor is great. Excellent beer and liquor selection, even deepcuts like fine bourbons, Powers whiskey and great guiness pours. The Grilled Cheese and that soup were divine! Mac and cheese with the sausage was really good, but that grilled cheese stole the show! The service was great, cant complain. It did get loud when a big crowd of people got rowdy, but its a saturday night in an irish pub during sports season in Downtown Dallas.

Deborah Moseley We went to JLB for the first time today. The restaurant was super clean, the lady running the place was very nice and helpful when we were trying to decide what to eat. My husband ordered the Crazy Burger and I got the Grilled Chicken sandwich. My husband took his first bite, his eyes got big and he said OMG this is the best burger, we will definitely be back. The bread was fresh made, all the veggies were fresh and the portions were BIG; we almost couldnt finish it all. The lady gave us each a hot deep fried Oreo, that topped off a great meal. I cant wait to go back to try the London fish and chips.

Marsha Russell This place is worth the drive from Austin! Everything about it — its location on the town square, its Texas-pub style interior, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, the creative menu, the food, and the beer — made it the perfect place to meet for a late lunch. The place was hopping midday on a Tuesday, so clearly it’s a favorite of the locals and surely draws people driving through. My calorie-counting friend ordered a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, and I got the FABULOUS Pecan Sweet Chicken, a fried chicken breast topped with honey pecan sauce. It was unforgettable. The dessert menu had several options that looked awesome, and had I ordered any, I’d have followed the pecan theme with the Brewer Chocolate Cake. Next time!

Jeanne Stewart Food is good but today Jan 2, 2026 I approached the register to make an order and a light complexion black male refused to take my order even after his coworker said to him that he needed to finish assisting. His response was Im going home its almost time to close. He continued to clock out. Thats fine but instead clocking out and leaving he clocked out and hung around laughing about not taking my order. Do better with the type of people you hire.
