Anna Johnstone Eggs Up Grill in Conroe is fantastic! The staff was so warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy and haven’t stopped thinking about them since, easily the best I’ve had! Such a great spot for a cozy and satisfying breakfast. Highly recommend!

Lance Ames Los Machetes is a must try in the RGV. Such a great menu with tlacoyos (blue corn masa), huitlacoche, tinga, pastor, and fajita. Tortillas are made fresh and are incredibly soft for corn. The machete taco itself is delicious with a deep flavor that you don’t find in any other place in the area. Top it all off with fresh, homemade horchata and you are guaranteed to have one of the best culinary experiences in the 956.

Road Wanderer Very basic Mexican restaurant but very good. Wife had the taco salad. It looked to be very large an very good. I had 2 shrimp enchiladas, rice and beans. Also very good. Not fancy but stuffed with a lot of shrimp. Service is also great.

Mario Guzman I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Richter. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, leaving us truly impressed. The attentiveness and care of the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And lets talk about the food – it was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was a burst of flavors that delighted our taste buds and left us wanting more. The ambiance added to the charm of the place, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Its safe to say that Richter has left a lasting impression on us. Were genuinely excited about the prospect of making it our new local spot for dining and drinks. With such an unforgettable experience, we cant wait to return and indulge in the culinary delights that Richter has to offer.

K Ali I went to this restaurant with high expectations and am telling you I wasn’t disappointed. I went there for dinner. Starting with the food, I ordered Takoyaki, Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice and Veggie Rolls. Takoyaki was amazing and I used the sauce that came with the fried rice and it was divine. The service was great as well and the server even put a heater next to me as Houston is under a cold spell these days. They even gave me a cheese cake FOC and it was surely amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely visit this restaurant again.

S The food was great-Ate there 10/23 and 10/26 while staying in the RV park of Container City. The food and service both times were great-had a grilled chicken sandwich special and chicken tinga tacos on 10/23 and grilled chicken sandwich, Tavern burger fries and onion rings. Beer, drink, queso and chips on 10/26/25. The bartender on 10/26 said it was happy hour all day. My husband ran a tab and paid out. I looked at the receipt the next day and - two different prices for the same beer-one full price and one happy hour price and full price for the chips and queso -advertised at about half price. Its hard to keep track of the charges when you run a tab - at least we got a receipt. Will definitely go back when we are in the area but will not run a tab. Edit 11/24/25. Would appreciate a response from management.
