5 /5 Larry Ray Reed: Flavor: A- Service: B Tea: B Solo dining: A When it’s on the main drag in F’burg, you never know if it’s legit or if they’re kept in business by drunken bachelorette parties ordering Cobb salads. I’m happy to report this place is legit. There are a few burger options on the menu but I will always choose the smash burger when one is offered. Theirs is two beef patties with American cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and house sauce on a potato bun. It all comes together very nicely, and while not a burger that blew my socks off, it was simple and really good. It’s flavorful and juicy but maybe just cooked a tad longer than I would like. If you believe life is about the sauce like I do, you’ll appreciate the extra condiments on the side to complement the house sauce. I’ll give it an A- for flavor though I wonder if on a different day they’d be an A. But The Burger Trail review only happens once so burger joints worldwide should always be on their A game. The house-made onion rings and ranch were a dynamite side and the live music on the patio made for an ideal evening. 5 /5 gc ortiz: If you want a real beef burger and your in Fredericksburg, look no more. You will NOT be disappointed. I had the classic smash burger which was a 1/2 lb beef burger with fries and all the trimmings. The burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection as well as the fries. While I was waiting for my burger, I indulged in Dos Equis fully dressed from the tap. Beer was nice and cold and so refreshing going down. Many thanks to Alissa who took my order. The place also had an outdoor music for those sitting outside.

4 /5 HipShot71: The food and atmosphere was excellent here, but I must say the service was truly awful! Our waitress was extremely flippant, rude, sarcastic, dropped our food on our table and did not come back to check on us. I realize that is just one employee, but it seemed to be the attitude of all the wait staff we saw. If you read my reviews youll see that I am not one to speak harshly of waitstaff.

3 /5 Brock Wakham: Great burgers, lovely patio dining, but quite disappointing service. The Texas Smokehouse burger was delicious. The house margarita was tasty but small. It was lunchtime on a Sunday but not so busy, plenty of open tables, and no wait. Ten minutes passed before anyone stopped for our order. Another thirty passed before our food arrived. My wife had to ask for her soda four times. Also, it was rather on the pricey end for a couple of burgers. Unimpressed really

4 /5 Leah C: Decent variety on menu. I got a cheeseburger with fries and a blackberry margarita. The fries were nice and crispy like I enjoy. The burger was pretty thick, good size, it could use more seasoning it was a little bland. The bun was good. My mom got onion rings and those were yummy. I did not get a picture of that.
