Ted Simons If you’re in Waxahachie, this is a MUST. We stopped here on our way back home. We were searching for an option for lunch and weee amazed by just how many options the menu had. The staff were all super helpful and friendly and the food was simply incredible. We got several items knowing we could take stuff back and we didn’t regret it at all. Peach Cinnamon Roll? The cream cheese had just enough of the peach flavor in it. Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal - my wife loves oatmeal, I don’t mind it and my daughter usually won’t touch it. But we ALL loved it. They had a fall specialty item - S’mores Stuffed French Toast. Simply amazing. Creamy, dreamy chocolate spread between two pieces of French toast that’s topped with mini marshmallows and whip cream. Heaven. The bacon is crisped just right, and the flavor profile just keeps hitting even after that initial bite. I got the brisket cheddar biscuit… KILLER. Two soft biscuits topped with sliced brisket that’s packed with flavor. Then topped with cheddar cheese and an egg of your style and potatoes (I got the home fries). Hands down perfection. I think we just found a new annual stop!

CJ Life saver for some weary travelers. We wanted breakfast foods, and we got breakfast foods. Their breakfast sandwich, served on Texas toast with crispy bacon is totally satisfying. Another ordered one of the bowls and thought it was great. Someone ordered cheese curds, also ridiculously delicious. Great assortment of drinks - unsweeted peach tea with a splash of their coconut tea made me happy. Staff made a fresh pot of coffee for us, too. Love the classic WT photos near the bathrooms. At least 10(?) TVs for your viewing pleasure or make-up-your-own narrative. Definitely recommend and would go back for lunch / dinner.

Misuki Nagay Wanted to try something new and we were very satisfied with not only the taste but the sizes of our sandwiches! I had the chicken bacon club, she had the Fiesta and we had the meals that comes with a choice of chips and drink. We also tried the brownie. Definitely returning! They had good service.

Brian Pham We stopped by The Burger Barn in Rosenberg, TX on New Year’s Day, hungry and hoping for a good meal, and wow, we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly employee (we wish we had gotten his name!). He took our order, helped bus tables, and even ran food, talk about going above and beyond. His warmth and energy really made our visit memorable. We ordered the 1/2 lb and 1/3 lb original burgers, and they were juicy, flavorful, and hit the spot perfectly. The fries and onion rings were super crispy, and just the right side of indulgent. For dessert, he recommended the apple pie rolls, and even had the kitchen fire them at a later time so they would stay warm for our drive home, a small touch that meant a lot! The restaurant was clean and welcoming, but it was truly the amazing service from that employee that stood out. If you’re in Rosenberg and craving a burger done right with a smile, this is the place to go!

Bethke Bryan “Wally” Great place to eat! Homemade biscuits and big portions of damn good food. Got The Jessies Kitchen breakfast dish with extra cheese and it was so damn good, every bite was better than the last. Great waitresses that keep your coffee full and have great attitudes.
