5 /5 Monica McDonald: You Must Come Here. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The parking lot was empty which is unfortunate for those who want both a great meal and a warm environment. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful...Mr. Carrera is so personable, hes like your favorite uncle. We arrived a little less than an hour before closing. Per a review given by someone else, we ordered the vegan nachos, but added combo meat to it...the beef and the chicken were juicy and very flavorful. The veggies added an extra dimension of goodness that you must try for yourself. We also ordered the combo stuffed avocado which was creamy and full of smooth deliciousness. We ordered the tres leches cake which was an explosion of goodness and we also had the key lime and lemon cake which was equally as spectacular. We will definitely be going back.

5 /5 Rissa Sorensen: AMAZING. It looks like its made with love, and it tastes that way too. This place is delicious. Entirely made from SCRATCH. And I mean everything! We had combo nachos, meaning chicken and beef, and the owner suggested adding veggies too (sauteed zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, spinach and onions) and that suggestion was like the cherry on top. My husband and I got mirror plates - he got the chicken combo, and I got the beef combo. Each of us got a 2 tacos (1 crispy, 1 al carbon), an enchilada, and he got flautas while I got a tostada. We halfed everything. The sour cream sauce was decadent. I may have dreams about it tonight, it was so good. The flautas are the best weve ever had. And everything we had here - just top notch. I am saving this to my favorites and I will be back!

5 /5 Landon Lively: Stopped in while passing through town. Super delicious. Had the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. My daughter had the fajita quesadillas. Really excellent flavors. Their homemade salsa was also delicious.

5 /5 Ginger G: Ate here based on the reviews and they were right. The food is really good. The nachos had sauteed veges in addition to the traditional nacho toppings and were excellent. I had a fish dish that was bass - it was steamed and came in the large foil. They then open it for you and you have a beautiful filet on top of grilled veges. On the side comes rice and vegetables which they recommended we add to the foil - which I did. It was all really excellent. The bass as super light and not fishy at all - and the sauce with all the veges and rice was wonderful. We also got churros for dessert - they were also very good. Really excellent choice and will go here again in the future. Worth the stop if you are driving on Hwy 175 between Athens and Dallas. Im sure the locals all go there all the time :)

5 /5 Fred Akin-Nolan: This place is authentic, the food is real Mexican, made to order not usual open canned meal served by others. The Owner is a friendly gentleman, the servers are professionals ready to pay individual attention to you. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to eat real authentic Mexican food
