Juliee-Anna Griffith I would recommend this place to anyone wanting some good food. My daughters LOVE their cheesefries, and I enjoy their baked potatoes. I also enjoy their dessert! Plenty of options, and all good prices.

K CG Was trying to order in app. But it kept telling me cant order at this location. So we told the ppl inside they was nice and said hold on sending someone out to help. Duh me it wasnt even on their location. So that was on me for sure lol. But only thing we didnt like was took a long time to get anyone on speaker. And there really wasnt a lot of other customers here at the time. So couldnt understand why no response for such a long time. To the few ppl that helped, the person on speaker and the person that came out thank yall so much. We appreciate yall.

Cyndis Hawg Hang Out - Caldwell

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ed Chen Cyndi’s Hawg Hang Out at 9940 TX-21, Caldwell, TX 77836 is a mysterious yet magnetic bar tucked in the middle of nowhere between College Station and Bastrop. Its remote location only adds to its charm, drawing in bikers, locals, and curious passersby who crave something raw, real, and unapologetically Texan. Stepping into the bar, I had the immediate sense that this was the kind of place where a squeaky door makes a statement. The moment you push it open, every head turns—not with suspicion, but with curiosity and a kind of unspoken invitation. That’s exactly what happened to me, and within minutes, I was already deep in conversation and laughter with strangers who quickly felt like old friends. The interior is a full sensory experience. The walls and ceilings are plastered with rally banners, neon beer signs, vintage memorabilia, and hand-painted slogans. From Black Hills Rally flags to patriotic decor, every corner of the bar tells a story. Arcade machines glow beside dartboards, while mismatched chairs surround wooden tables stained with the mark of many nights of good conversation. In one area, a television plays beneath a wall of irreverent, bold signage. The place has grit, soul, and an unmistakable energy—equal parts dive bar, biker den, and communal living room. I met Cyndi, the owner, along with Brandy, Chowdog, Matt, Tom, and Michelle. Their extreme hospitality broadened my horizons in ways I didn’t expect. They were generous with stories, beers, and laughter, each one adding to the authenticity of the experience. Everyone was incredibly easy-going, and I felt truly welcome. Cyndi’s Hawg Hang Out isn’t just a bar—it’s a gathering place for misfits, adventurers, and anyone with a good heart and an open mind. If you’re ever cruising along TX-21 and see the neon signs and motorcycles outside, don’t hesitate. Walk in, grab a cold one, and get ready to meet some of the friendliest people Texas has to offer.
