Cochran Grill - Bellville

Rating: 4.9 /5
Katherine Kiraly Wonderful service and superior quality food. This is a really special place to stop, we highly recommend. Everything was handmade and the portions are huge. We started with the street corn and chicharrones which were freshly fried up and still cracklin when they hit the table. The homemade sangria was phenomenal. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and it took up the whole plate. I got the fried shrimp plate and they were not shy with the shrimps. They were juicy, fresh and perfectly fried.

Sunbird Barbecue - Longview

Rating: 4.6 /5
Russ We were in Longview with our crew in October of 25. We had read the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joints story and wanted to try it for ourselves. We rolled into town just after sell-out and there was still a line. The customers leaving with food were all telling us how great the food is and encouraged us to come back the next day. You dont get that often. Unfortunately, we had to leave the next morning, so we headed back in December after a 1000-mile drive. This time we were the fifth in line arriving a half hour early. The drive and the early arrival were well worth the wait! While I am a huge BBQ fan my wife was not. Not even a third or fourth choice but she ordered and absolutely loved it! A Pit Master who really knows his stuff for sure. Looks like Sunbird has converted her to BBQ lover. We may just have to make plans for a long drive when we want some. The staff was friendly and answered questions for us. The food came out hot and fast and there was nothing that we would have asked for differently. While we were there we sat close to the counter, and they were very helpful addressing anything a customer would need. We will visit Sunbird BBQ again!

Juniors BBQ - West

Rating: 5 /5
Lily Gill Was looking for a stop on the drive up to Dallas and found this independent bbq place right off the highway. Its mexican and texas bbq food. The interior has about 6 tables to sit at. We tried the brisket, jalapeno sausage, potato salad, beans, texas twinkie and brisket taco. Very kindly the owner gave us a carne asada to try too. Our favourites were the Texas twinkie, potato salad and the carne asada taco. Super good price for the amount of food. My very hungry husband couldnt finish his plate.

ToKu Asian Bistro (新符記) - Richmond

Rating: 4.6 /5
Tony Yip I was invited to this restaurant by a friend and Im glad I decided to join. We were a party of 8 but after taking 2 photos of the dishes, the food caught my attention and I forgot to take photos of the remaining dishes. This place is family owned. The atmosphere brings out a calm and relaxing feeling because of the color and decor in the dinning area. The dishes were flavorful and tasted amazing, it was a mixture of authentic Chinese, authentic Japanese and fusion dishes. The wonton soup, human fillet, and mono tofu are recommended. The staff were friendly and kind. This place is recommended to try!!

HUMO - Tyler

Rating: 4.4 /5
Christi Carpenter One of our go-to places in Tyler. Always a great experience at Humo! Food is fantastic-Mexican with a BBQ flare. Drinks are very good. I have been here for date night and larger groups. Exceptional service every time. Prices are very reasonable as well.
