4 /5 JESSE Travels: Chris’s Kitchen, located near Borger in Fritch, Texas, is a great little spot for a hearty meal with a hometown feel. The restaurant is well-loved by locals for its comfort food and welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why it has a solid reputation in the area. During my visit, I found that the service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a great place to grab a bite. One thing to note is that the restaurant does allow smoking, and the smell of cigarettes was noticeable throughout. However, they do have a separate seating area for non-smokers, which I appreciated. Another plus is that they usually have daily specials, adding variety to the menu and making it easy to try something different each visit. If you’re looking for a casual dining experience with good, home-style cooking, Chris’s Kitchen is a solid choice.

4 /5 Buddy Jennings: Fried catfish was perfect. The Tejas Chicken was perfect. 1/4 Taco salad was still a nice sized serving. Chips were hot and salsa good.

2 /5 Amanda Mashburn: Food was decent. Staff was only friendly to the "regulars", never once checked on us. Waited 45 minutes for food and it wasnt busy.

4 /5 Sarah Friend: Ok so the food and service were sooooo good here!! Our waitress was so kind and helpful. Food was delicious and perfect temperature. My only complaint is the SMOKING. I’m not sure how this restaurant is allowed to have smoking but the entire back area is full of smoking patrons. Loved the food but I don’t want to leave smelling like an ash tray.
