Texas Roadhouse - Flower Mound

Texas Steph My son and I have this in our rotation once or twice a month because he absolutely loves picking his filet out of the butcher window. Tonight our server, Christian, was an absolute pleasure to have and very patient with my neuro-spicy kiddo as we normally come on a quieter Sunday or Monday night, and mom didn’t even think about it being a Friday while everyone was out of work and school. Also, Ms Leanne came by to check on everything , as she always does. Our filets were cooked to perfect medium-rare, melted in our mouths with just the right amount of seasoning. Always looking forward to our next visit!

Calico County Restaurant - Amarillo

Rating: 4.3 /5
BradandJen McCleary Calico County Restaurant is a true gem in Amarillo—a place that feels like a warm hug from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re stopping in for a late breakfast or a hearty dinner, the menu is packed with tons of options to satisfy any craving. One of the best parts? Breakfast is served all day, and it’s everything you’d hope for—fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, savory omelets, and more. The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like dining with family. Our server made great recommendations and kept everything flowing smoothly, even during a busy time. You can tell they take pride in what they do here. Whether you’re in the mood for comfort food classics, a full Southern-style breakfast, or something lighter, Calico County has you covered. The food is fresh, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit again before you even leave the parking lot. A must-stop if you’re passing through Amarillo!

Casey Rodriguez Great place to hang out and eat! Food was phenomenal. The rib eye, raw oysters, and fried mushrooms were great but what really stood out were the sides (I got turnip greens and sautéed squash) and my drink! Those sides sent the food over the edge in the best way and the Part Time Lover with tequila was heavenly. Beautiful flavors!! Our server Heath was very friendly and helpful. A little extra LOL but we enjoyed his service. There was a band playing that we enjoyed towards the end. Well definitely be back!

The Crust Pizzeria - Angleton

Rating: 4.2 /5
Petite Porkers The food was great, we had pizza, wings and a cuban sub, we will definitely be going back. Our waitress was nice but being distracted by the cook and either owner or manager so we had to ask her multiple times for things she forgot to brung us the first time we asked and we were the only customers there. The building was clean and nice design and decor but the bathrooms are questionable.

P Swartz If you’re even thinking about eating here—go. This is one of those rare, family-owned places where everything is made fresh and you can taste the difference immediately. The food is rich, comforting, and full of flavor—nothing rushed, nothing generic, just genuinely excellent cooking. The service is just as memorable: warm, attentive, and welcoming, like you’ve stepped into a place that truly cares about its customers. Every dish we had was outstanding, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. This is the kind of restaurant you want to support and tell your friends about. A true local gem. Highly recommend—and we’ll absolutely be back.
