Melodie It was my first time coming here to celebrate my birthday with my husband, and it was such a beautiful and well-organized restaurant. They even put glitter on the table for a birthday touch. Such a cute gesture! Our server was very kind and attentive as well. I tried the king crab for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Next time I would ask for regular melted butter instead of the citrus sour cream, only because the citrus can overpower the natural flavor of the crab, but thats personal preference. The crab itself was perfectly cooked and sweet. My Berry Patch zero-proof mocktail was refreshing and the flavors blended perfectly. I also highly recommend the lobster bisque. It’s rich, smooth, and full of flavor. It was the perfect appetizer. For dessert, they surprised us with a complimentary baked Alaska, and we also ordered their famous carrot cake, which is huge! We ended up taking the rest home. This is the perfect special occasion dining experience!

The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional — truly top-notch. The live music created such a warm, upscale atmosphere, and the wine selection was fantastic. Every visit felt special, and the bartender deserves a shout-out — excellent drinks, great sense of humor, and just the right personal touch that makes you want to stay all night. Eddie V’s never disappoints — consistently amazing food, music, and vibes. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

John Hill Jeffrey’s has set the standard for food and service excellence in Austin for years. Sunday is half price wine night (any bottle!) so we make quarterly overpriced trips from San Antonio to enjoy date night. Our most recent date put us with our server Jacob in the bar. We love to people watch! Jacob made our night with his menu and wine knowledge, as well as his most excellent service attitude.

Mariam Johnson My husband and I decided at 8:30 that we wanted to have a quick dinner for my birthday after kids went to sleep so we got to the restaurant around 9pm. The service was great - Greg was our waiter. And the other waited Dillon was also very pleasant. For the appetizer we ordered a foie gras which was very similar to what we’ve had in Paris. For the main course, we ordered whole bass that was off the menu and it was absolutely delicious. I read some of the other reviews as well and the pricing in my opinion was good. The service was in a timely manner as well. It’s possible we just got lucky as we arrived when everyone else was leaving, however, we eat quite late so this is not unusual for us. The drink was absolutely delicious and not watered down (as I saw other people mention). Overall, if you come on a slower day, you’ll have amazing service and delicious food!

William Millan I ordered an off-menu Land and Sea dish, which came with a giant shrimp and two petite filets topped with different gravies. Everything was cooked perfectly — the shrimp was flavorful, the steaks were tender, and the vegetables were delicious. The flavors overall were outstanding. This is a true local steakhouse, not a chain, and it feels warm and welcoming. The inside is beautifully decorated and includes a separate bar area, while the outdoor seating area is cozy and romantic — an ideal spot to bring a date. We also tried the cupcakes, which were excellent. Service was average, but overall good. In general, I highly recommend this place for both the food and the atmosphere. Reservations are recommended during the weekend
