Crepes & cream PAPALOTE - (Near Andrews, TX)

David Chambers Ordered two sausage and egg breakfast tacos (with pico and extra jalapenos) and could only eat one. Im saving the other one for a bit later today. There was only one lady working the grill so I was scared it might take a long time. But she got my huge tacos made quickly despite having 10 other tasks that she had to do in between.

Justin Conway My wife and I had dinner at BARREL & DERRICK at 9pm on a Monday. The modern deco dining room was big, clean and beautiful, with low lighting. We were sat immediately by our host at a comfortable booth. Our server was considerate & courteous. We started by sharing a Peach & Burrata Salad, and for the main course we ordered the smoked Turkey Avocado BLT with truffle parmesan fries, a side order of grilled broccolini, the Ultimate Chicken Fried Steak with whipped gold mash potato and house made jalapeño gravy, and a Elysian Space Dust IPA. All the food was phenomenal. This was probably the best Chicken Fried Steak Ive ever had, perfectly breaded & fried. This was one of the best meals we had on our 10 day road trip. I would be surprised if BARREL & DERRICK wasnt the best restaurant in all of Odessa. We spent $113.66 including tip, and it was worth every penny. Thank you, chef.

Hugo The restaurant is within street view, but located on the residential road. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Theres plenty of parking and seating. They have various flavors of Aguas Frescas. The complimentary chips come with a delicious red warm salsa. The other salsas for dining are also good. Their bistek beef and pastor meat are awesome, theyre both soft and flavorful. The burritos are medium sized, slightly longer than modern cell phone, as a fat guy I would eat two burritos, but an average person would be just fine with one. The tacos are big with plenty of meat. All food came out at a good hot temperature. The prices are lower than other restaurants in the area. I was very impressed with the quality of food and service, I will definitely be back soon.

Clari Valdez Customer service was outstanding our waiter Carlos was awesome. The food was amazing our first time there was a delight. Me and my daughter are excited about going back again. We just moved to McAllen and this our number restaurant so far. 10 out 10
