DAWON Korean Restaurant - (Near Allen, TX)

Donald Elton Wife and I were driving threw to Del Rio when we found Ziggys. When we walked threw the door we were greeted by friendly staff. We took a look and the menu and were told they had ribs and brisket left. (Later in the day so understandably out of some thing) I got the brisket plate with fired pickles and onion rings, wife got the rib play with fried okra and potato salad. The brisket had great flavor and melted in your mouth side were of the same caliber. Wifes ribs tasted amazing, but she fell in love with the fried okra. Will definitely be coming back.

Eric Barrows We decided to give this place a try. Well we are very pleased we did!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is good. I had the best chicken fried steak ever!! Fork tender and the crust did not fall away from the cut. Wifey had the Beer Batter Fried Cod. Easy to cut, flakey, not oily and it wasn’t dried out!! Mac cheese was moist and cheesy. You will it be disappointed at all. Oh my wife says that she usually doesn’t care for CFS (chicken fried steak) but she had to admit it was very good!!

Marissa Bruton First time dining here! The food portions were large and prices are affordable. The hummus was 10/10. I had the chicken plate and the everything was so full of flavor! Never had rice pudding before, but it was worth it. All the food was so good and the workers were friendly and the place was clean. Would recommend this place!

Noel Aifili 10 Star food! GREAT Philipino food GREAT price GREAT portions GREAT people The food and people at A Taste of the Philippines is absolutely FIRE aka amazing! Not only can you tell that food is made with love but Alan and his team there at the FARM to FAMILIA loc are great and genuine people. I’m no food critic however from years of growing up in Hawaii around the Filipino people i know that this aunthentic cultural foood with Alan’s twist. Sooo good! If you haven’t tried them out yet then you’re missing out!! Get there asap

zuly Esparza All my life living in Brownsville (34 years) and this is my first time here! Flavorful fajita, soft and good portion on my Tampiqueña plate…all the were good. Only thing is the tortillas, if you don’t eat the tortilla fast, it gets hard quick. (Maybe just mine that day) I didn’t mind at all I just left it. My husband got the Nachos, he enjoyed his meal as well.

Sandy Mac Everytime we go to Bastrop, we try a local restaurant that we haven’t before, but man o man, we were surprised we hadn’t tried 602. First of all, all the food we ordered was full of flavor and hot. Their beers are great too. I couldn’t stop drinking their peach Hefeweizen. They really do care and try to bring the community together. Even met the owner and his daughter, which were both lovely. Shout out Heather Blue (the bartender), whom was nice, attentive and a rockstar. Will definitely visit again to try more of their menu.
