El Jacalito Restaurant - (Near Andrews, TX)

Miguel M Came here when I was passing through. I wanted tripas but they only had Carne Asada.... I hesitantly tried it and was not disappointed. Still good.

Casey Martin This is a great stop for gas, clean multi-stall restrooms and just about anything you could need on a road trip. They even have a dog run attached to their very ample parking lot. This very charming, old school general store has such an impressive variety of products - everything from a pharmacy to clothing to toys and gifts. Plus they have all the normal convenience store drinks and snacks. The young man working greeted us with a friendly hello and made us feel welcome and appreciate as customers (which sadly isn’t the norm for a lot of places). You can really feel the love and faith that is at the core of this wonderful store! We travel between Colorado and Houston often and Clarendon, in general, is a nice, clean town and definitely worth pressing on from Amarillo if you’re on a road trip out this way.

JM KK Dont deny yourself, get the extra bread for the lovely buffalo burrata. Make sure you open the cheese up so you can get in & scoop up the pear mostardo...with that gorgeous basil oil!!! The Extra Fancy pizza brought joy sweet hubby. I thought it was great, but the burrata kept calling me back. Thanks for the delicious meal!

Lidia Lomas THE BEST local food truck around! Their Steak Sandwich is def in my top 5 of ALL STEAK sandwiches EVER and their desserts are always superb! There has not been a miss when trying something new on their menu- Delicious every time! They have some pretty cool Halloween theme dinners as well during spooky season! I already cannot wait for the next one! ALL my friends know they are coming lol

Eristina Mcglocklin My husband absolutely loves this place. He has to get a “wild bowl” at least 2-3 times a week. So much food for the price and amazing service!

LeeAn Benavides Excellent food! Very clean restaurant with a cute maritime vibe. I wish they had some music playing but otherwise great booth and table space. They offer everything from seafood to fried chicken and hamburgers. They also have a wide variety of sides and appetizers. When we went they only had canned sodas not fountain but that wasn’t a big deal. They offer fresh baked cake by the slice and the cooks had hair nets, caps and aprons on. Very hot and freshly made food.
