Leighanne Cluff My husband and I went down to Mt Pleasant to meet our granddaughter to deliver Xmas presents for her children, she suggested this restaurant for lunch, what a great surprise! Great food, huge portions and great service. My husband had the chicken fried steak it was as big as the platter it came on...I had breakfast, which is offered all day and our granddaughter had a club sandwich of which she took home half because it was so big! Definitely cominh back again?

Mrs Williams ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I finally tried The Jerk Shack in San Antonio after seeing so many reviews, and let me tell you — the hype is REAL. I usually take online reviews with a grain of salt, so I started simple and ordered the pulled pork, while my daughter got the fried chicken. When I say this food was GOOD… I mean OMG good. The pulled pork was delicious, and after tasting my daughter’s fried chicken, I literally had to go back and order my own — plus the cocoa bread! Everything was seasoned perfectly, cooked just right, and full of flavor. All I can say is OMG. So, so good. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

H C I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for months and my husband and I finally made it. I had the BEST time! I loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding! We went for lunch and I couldnt believe the special. All you can eat! For an amazing price! I was very excited to try Korean fried chicken and I was not disappointed! The BEST chicken wings I have ever eaten. I loved cooking at the table and with the lunch special, there are so many options to try! We had the chicken, sirloin, pork chops, brisket and beef belly. All very good. This is my new favorite restaurant. I am telling all of my friends and family. You MUST try

The smoked chicken was easily some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky flavor that shows they really know what they’re doing. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the owner, Earnest. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll meet. He takes the time to greet customers, check in on their meals, and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell he puts his heart into both the food and the community. Great food, great people—can’t ask for much more. Highly recommend!

Erick R We had to stop for a very late dinner after my son’s soccer game, so there weren’t that many options. My wife wasn’t too thrilled to go but we had very limited choices. Glad we went as the service was great, and the food hit the spot. It was very late so not many people, and we had prompt service and the food was delicious. Would come back!

Bobbi Dickson So my boyfriend and I are at the Hotel across the street and we decided to go get some Smokehouse. I talked to the man who was behind the counter cutting the meat. My bf and I share foods so we can try more new foods. He got the ribs and chicken with the potato salad and pasta salad as sides and I got the brisket I’ve been craving and I was going to get the ham but he suggested turkey with pasta salad and bacon ranch pasta as the sides. His plate: He said the smoke flavor is there in both meats but you need the BBQ sauce for sure. He wasn’t a big fan of the pasta salad because it tastes like it’s vinegar and olive oil but he liked the potato salad and corn bread. My plate: The best thing out of everything is that turkey! It IS NOT dry and it’s fall apart good with that smoke flavor… it’s so good you don’t need BBQ sauce. The brisket was good and juicy and falling apart and that smoked flavor is in it but you still need BBQ sauce but it was REALLY good still. I liked the pasta salad personally minus the raw broccoli LoL and I didn’t care for my bacon ranch pasta but my boyfriend liked it. And I did like the corn bread it was just like jiffy. But between the staff and the food it’s a 5 star rating for me! I would love to go back just to get the turkey for sure! I’m so glad he recommended it to me.
