B Schwartz We had the pleasure of being served by Shay during our recent visit, and she was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. She anticipated our needs, gave great recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests the entire time. What really stood out was her genuine smile and upbeat attitude — even during a busy shift. She handled everything with grace and professionalism, and it made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Great service like this deserves to be recognized. Jermaine Castillo On November 22, 2025, I threw my mother a 50th birthday party. The food was delicious and the waitstaff were so accommodating and patient with our large party. Our waitress named: Katie, Lindsey and Victoria was wonderful. They had great customer service. They not only meet our needs but anticipated them causing the party to run so smoothly. The event coordinator, Sandra, was so helpful in the planning process and was very responsive to all inquiries and concerns since the first call I made a half a year ago. She was very sweet and so nice to work with. Great communication skills. Amazing team.

Antonio Balboa A group of us went by to try this local spot out. I heard they had an amazing beer selection so wanted to try out some new brews. The beer selection is unmatched in Brownsville. They have a few local breweries on tap, which is nice to see them supporting local businesses. They have a crazy variety of beers on draft and bottled/can. We came for the drinks but the food was very good as well. I had the brisket and sausage with beans and Mac and it was all super good. Atmosphere is great, we even decided to go outside to play some corn-hole. The entire vibe is great. They had good music playing inside and outside. I just wish that they had some live music or karaoke on the nice stage they have outside.

Philip Kilker-Elms This restaurant has the best sirloin in town! Two visits now, and both times the sirloin was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection with good marbling throughout. Service is top notch and the other dishes were well done too. Allergies were understood and delivered on too. Options for booth, table and bar dining. Definitely a great place for a meal with company, young kids, or an intimate occasion.

PA Muller This was a really good place to eat! Even though we went in through the wrong door (it seems to be the norm), we were greeted and seated. It is small but the service was outstanding and the food delicious! Jeremy, our server, always checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled. We both ordered fish and chips which was so delicious! The fish was not overly greasy and the fries were perfect. Not too crunchy and not undercooked either. My husband got the gumbo which he said was so good that it didnt need crackers. They have a full bar and gluten free options. They also have outside seating. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Thank you, Fish City Grill!
