Well, let me tell you the Gus‘s fried chicken is out of this world so good so so good award winning. If you’re in the area, check it out. I know my nephew from JosheatsFL has been here when he was in town.. I don’t know if he did a review or not.. but this place is oh yes, certified

Kara Passmore Outstanding Experience at Cheddar’s! I went to Cheddar’s for the first time tonight, and in all my years living in Texas, I’ve never had such excellent service and food at such a great price. From the moment we walked in, the experience was wonderful — the host at the front greeted us warmly, asked how we were doing, and even checked to make sure the seats she offered were to our liking. We genuinely felt cared for from the very start. The atmosphere was phenomenal — the lighting was easy on the eyes, the space felt classy, and the music was at the perfect volume: noticeable but still great for conversation. The seating was also very comfortable and stylish. Our waiter, Lucas, was absolutely amazing. He was upbeat, attentive, and checked on us at just the right times. His positive energy carried through to every table he served, and you could tell he truly enjoyed his job. It was also a nice touch that the manager stopped by to check in with us — something many higher-priced restaurants don’t even do. As for the food, everything was phenomenal. The burger was thick, juicy, and had that perfect flame-grilled flavor rather than just a pan-seared one. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The ribs were tender, well-coated in barbecue sauce without being smothered, and had a generous amount of meat — unlike many other places that charge more for less. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we were greeted to the last bite of food, everything was exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Lucas again!

Erika Smith Addie T was our server and couldn’t be more delightful! Made excellent recommendations and everything was delicious! We enjoyed the Downtown Waco sushi as an app. Off menu filet and ribeye were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The bartender suggested a local whiskey that my husband really liked and a red wine that went great with my steak. I was able to add the burrata to my filet and it was also very good. No complaints. Quiet and well appointed dining area in historic building with charming touches. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice dining experience. Walking distance from Hilton.

Rhea DSouza Flavorful and the closest to Louisiana food we’ve tried in Texas. Love the vibe of this restaurant, very rustic, the food was amazing and the service even better. We got the fried catfish with etouffee as a main and crabcakes as starter. Found this place in the middle of nowhere on our way to Austin and I think we made the perfect choice

Kevin Jones I cant even remember the last time I ate at Golden Corral, but I can say that Ill definitely be back. Its a favorite of my aunt and uncle and my wife and I were treating them to a lunch date. We arrived to find both management and staff very friendly and a nice and clean environment. The selection of food was great and the seasoning was on point. Its been a while since Ive eaten that much but I couldnt resist tasting as many options as possible. To end it, I waited just long enough to be able to squeeze in an ice cream desert on our way out. Nice job to the management and team!

Petite Porkers The food was great, we had pizza, wings and a cuban sub, we will definitely be going back. Our waitress was nice but being distracted by the cook and either owner or manager so we had to ask her multiple times for things she forgot to brung us the first time we asked and we were the only customers there. The building was clean and nice design and decor but the bathrooms are questionable.
