Mitzi Stolarski Can you really get amazing Gluten Free Vietnamese food in Waco, TX? Yes, you can at Clay Pot! We started our meal with Gluten Free Pork Fried Egg Rolls. They were so delicious we had to order another serving!!! For our entrees, we selected Pineapple Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Bun Xoa. All were delicious!!! So if you are in Waco for a weekend getaway or are a local, make the trip to Clay Pot in Downtown Waco. You will be glad you did!!!!

Morgan Hobbs The service was exceptional. We didn’t love the chicken fried steak (it was a bit tough) or catfish (very small pieces.) But the kids meals were good and the pie was good. Our experience was all around 5 stars just because the customer service was so great.

Alejandro Ezquerra We visited Plank Provisions at The Shops at Clearfork and had an amazing experience. This review will be brief since we only tried one dish: the Atlantic Salmon. My recommendation is to enjoy the salmon without wine or any other drink—just water. If you rinse your mouth before each bite, you’ll notice an incredible burst of flavor every time. We ordered the salmon cooked medium, and both the fish and the risotto stayed perfectly warm throughout the meal. The hostess and our waiter were outstanding and even suggested what may be the best table in the entire restaurant. The total for two salmon entrées, including tip, was around $72, and it was absolutely worth it.

Gordon Bracker Wonderful food. Fantastic Green Sauce Great place to eat. The only thing is that they need to brighten up the restaurant. I will absolutely visit every time Im in Baytown!!! The dish I had was grilled chicken covered with Queso, Shrimp and Crawfish Tails. Absolutely Delicious!!!!!

Gary Tucker Sat down and was greeted by Ainsley! She was eager, warming and friendly, i had some very specific requests and she suggested the perfect meal, something i did not even see on the menu. She listened and provide amazing service. Mj the shift leader came reinforcing why this is a great place to eat, talk about back to basics!

Richard Tunstall Ive enjoyed the food here. It has great Hot and Sour Soup in my estimation. Favorful. It was better and different a few weeks ago. Its like another recipe is used now, but its still better than other places. The fried spring rolls are a bargain compared to other places. However, the center isnt cooking as fast as the outer part. The center is doughy like they were fried too fast, or the rolls start frozen, but the inside isnt quite right because its still thawing. Anyway, its a great place to eat. I get the feeling the food is freshly prepared.
