Boat Town Burger Bar - Kingsland

Rating: 4.3 /5
Milton Hope Visiting from out of town playing golf in kingsland. Person at the golf course recommended this location for a good burger. It did not disappoint. I had a cheeseburger with fries. Great atmosphere, lots of room with inside and outside patio seating. Inside had TVs all around the wall so you can watch college football on a Saturday afternoon. If you sit outside you get a great view of the LLano River and all the boats going up and down the river. If youre in the area certainly give it a try I dont think youll be disappointed

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar - Round Rock

Alisa Davydova Ive been wanting to visit this place for awhile and we finally were able to come out and enjoy this place. When we first came in we were hit with a beautiful rustic interior. Very suitable for date night and the design really suits the restaurant as well. We were then sat and greeted by an amazing and kind server. Her name is Rhiannon. She had amazing recommendations and suggestions and made our night amazing. We got a couple of appetizers, we got the Goat cheese fondue(4/5), Brussels Spouts (5/5) and Crab fritters(2/5) the Crab fritters came out with 5 little balls and some sauce. they were a little fishy and for $16 it just wasnt the best and pretty pricy in my opinion. then for our entrees we got the Shrimp Rigatoni(5/5), and the French Onion Burger (4/5). We also got a side of mac and cheese and that was hands down the best mac and cheese we ever had. We also had 5 different cocktails which were all great and for a good price too!! We also got the Dude where are my car keys(i think) whiskey flight. All the drinks were amazing and for a fair price so this is a new favorite spot for us. And we finished off with their Whiskey cake with Honey Bourbon ice cream. I honestly hate cakes in America since theyre usually very dry. This was the most delicious cake ive ever had in my life and it made sense to me why they named the restaurant after the cake. Overall we had an amazing experience and we will for sure be back and hope to be served by Rhiannon every time.

Backporch Social - Round Rock

Lizzy Stowe My two friends and I went for the first time. Its a pretty chill place to go and hang out. Inside theres a few arcade games and tables. Outside has tons of seating as well. Theres a stage for bands to play, unfortunately there was an incident down the road, so the singer rescheduled. Luckily theres a big screen on stage and they had the football game on. But theres yard games to play or like we did, we brought our own games to play. Food was good. Theres a variety of Mexican American food, and lots of adult drinks to choose from. A great place to hang out with friends.

Collettis Italian Restaurant - Harlingen

Rating: 4.3 /5
Pete Smith A wonderful experience. Amazing decor; great food. Elegant dining; authentic Italian dishes. Drink specials throughout the week 3 to 7. Entertainment some nights, including piano player/vocalist inside and bands outside on patio. Rich, majestic interior with beautiful hi-gloss tiles, burgundy curtains, substantial chandeliers, authentic looking gas-fired sconces, paintings and old-world photos. The spaghetti and meatballs was terrific as was the chicken saltimbocca. Italian almond orange cake made for a perfectly unique and satisfying dessert. Lemon drop cocktail was Thursdays drink special. Full menu including soups, salads, steaks, seafood, pastas, and especially Italian entrees. Lunch menu too. Authentic Italian desserts. Beautifully decorated inside and out on the patio as well, with old fashioned street lights and classy wrought iron tables and chairs. A must when visiting Harlingen. Family owned and operated.

USTA KABABGY Round Rock - Round Rock

Rena Rilloraza What a pretty restaurant. The tables and chairs are so unique. The service was prompt and very welcoming. Everything is made in house and the bread is so fluffy and soft. I wish it was wrapped in a cloth to keep it from cooling before our entrees arrived but it was perfect for dipping. We definitely ordered way too much but so worth it. The mixed grill plate with lamb tikka and kofta was delicious. I loved that they served it with a grilled onion and tomato. We also got the tomato kofta tagine. Sooo much flavor and the dish it was served in was beautiful. Just enough broth to dip plenty of pita bread in. I did wish they told us in advance how much longer it takes to prepare but worth the wait. I think if we weren’t sharing it would’ve inconvenienced whomever selected the tagine as their entree. The presentation was stunning for everything we got and even though we had leftovers we just had to get a wrap to go because why not! We will be back for sure the tabbouleh, lentil soup and flatbreads are next on the list!
