TLP Great food, great menu. I appreciate the variety of offerings that you wouldnt often find, like brisket chili and brisket nachos. The sausage baked potato was the largest Ive ever seen. My cousin who knows Texas BBQ well and has traveled the state in search of the very best BBQ loves Killens and introduced me to it.

Abraham Alvarez I went there for lunch. Sat at the bar, as it was quieter than the rest of the restaurant. I ordered one of the lunch menu items (steak salad) and fries. The salad and steak were very good; however, the fries seemed like the plate had been ready to serve 5-10 minutes before, as they were not longer hot. Overall, the experience was good.

Diane Richmond Great spot! The bennies are to die for! Not a huge fan of chipotle sauce in general, but the shrimp & grits were so good otherwise, that the dish was still divine!

Stephanie Perez I brought my daughter and my mother to Elsie last Saturday for brunch, and the experience was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious—I had the chicken and waffles, my mom had the Elsie sandwich, and my daughter had the pancakes with fruit. Everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. My coffee was excellent as well. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Rocio. She was extremely welcoming and friendly. At one point, she even remembered my name and asked how I was enjoying my meal, which made me feel truly valued as a guest. Her personal attention and warmth really stood out, showing outstanding hospitality and customer service. I also love that Elsie is a faith-based restaurant—it adds such a meaningful and uplifting touch to the experience. TW Highly recommend!!! If you’re looking for an excellent warm southern made from scratch dining experience. Bring your friends, family or loved ones. This is the perfect place. The food quality is excellent with such wonderful dishes and some really wonderful surprises on the menu “Country Deep Fried Bacon”, BBQ Ranch dressing and Cinnamon Honey Butter that adds that little extra flavor. The restaurant gives you that country classic feel with well designed touches for that good home family feel. The staff and management are engaging with such warm hospitality and friendly service. Pro Tip~ “Dine in Only Specials” are such wonderful dishes and Only $9.99 All made from scratch…

Mr. Bravo I was visiting Dallas and this was a place that had a lot of vegetarian options. We tried the Barada some seasoned chips and the crispy eggplant and everything was amazing. We also tried some lemonade and iced tea and everything tasted very refreshing. Can’t wait to go back and try some more. They also had a kids menu with a lot of options. My son tried the pasta with red sauce and he loved it and they were also able to add some veggies.
