5 /5 Reginyl L Dorsey: This is my second time eating at this establishment. I was and still am very impressed with the food. IHOP pass by this place for many years now and didnt realize that this restaurant existed. I found out that prior it was a Mexican restaurant that closed down for several years and now theyre open since the past 2 years. Upon me moving back to Texas I stumbled upon this nice little gym of a restaurant. My little brother and I needed something to eat and this was the perfect spot to get it done. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for homestyle cooked meals fresh. I will return in the future when in the vicinity to try the rest of the menu. I ordered the deep fried pecan pie which I am extremely curious to try. On a scale from 1 to 10 I give this place 10 out of 10. Thank you for opening and provide an employees that even truck drivers can get into to get a good hot home cooked meal

1 /5 Miles: The food was awful im not sure who writing these reviews but they are not accurate. The Mac n cheese looks nothing like the photos. The mashed potatoes was overwhelming with gravy. They fish taste like wet paper. They charged me $4 for an extra side. Please view photos of the size of the food I placed a ketchup packet to show size . I do not recommend this place. OVER PRICED The only thing that was good was the hush puppies. I did not eat the food threw it away only ate the hush puppies.

4 /5 bennie conley: If you love home style food,then this is the spot for you. My family and I have been here a few times, and the food is always great. The service is quick and very friendly. I believe they have the best hush puppies around. They have a nice variety of appetizers and entrees as well. So stop by and give them a try.

4 /5 Leah H: Its important that I divulge that Im not a fried food fan...I know, I know, immediate boo-ing from the audience! This place is all about the fried food experience! If you are a fried food fan, this is going to be one of your favorite stops! The catfish stole the show without a doubt. It was perfectly golden and crunchy without being hard and it was piping hot. The mashed potatoes were excellent. My favorite part and why I will return is the food is not smothered in salt. My husband enjoyed the wings. He said that he would order them again. It was strange for him to dip the wings in a sauce vs having the sauce cooked on them. Visually they were very appealing and they were also piping hot. Prices were on point for portions. Although, I worry that the CFC will come under a little scrutiny. In these parts, CFCs and CFSs are generally huge. But, the prices tend to be higher also. I, personally, didnt care for the Mac n Cheese. I cant say it was bad, it just wasnt a blend that I cared for. Overall cleanliness and sanitation in the Front of House was great. Ticket times and service in general were good for a brand new restaurant. All the employees who touched us during our visit were genuine and were striving for excellence.

5 /5 Beth G: We are visiting from Corpus. The food was great! Very tasty and good portions. We did not finish due to portions being big! I got chicken fried steak meal and my daughter got a burger. We both were highly satisfied. We enjoyed reading the different signs on the walls. The server was very friendly. Definitely will be back next time we pass by!!
